Blaska Policy Werkes

David Blaska, going out of his way to provoke progressives in Madison WI to make America safe for democracy!

Where is the outrage?

You think maybe we’re too busy blaming the police?

It is too much to ask but we ask it anyway. Where is the outrage?

In Milwaukee WI on a Saturday evening. A 39-year-old man fires a gun from his SUV into another vehicle after nearly colliding with it. The vehicle had four young children inside. One of them, a 3-year-old girl, was killed. (Story here.)

Antonio Bratcher
Antonio Bratcher

Does it matter that the totally innocent victim and the alleged perp, one Antonio Bratcher, are both African-American? Apparently, it does matter but should not.

You want senseless? Not self-defense. Not a lover’s quarrel or a drug deal gone bad. Not even a rival gang whacking. Just a stupid case of road rage.

The “woke” community is after sexier game: “white privilege.” No protest marches, no demands for releasing an arbitrary number of inmates, no breast-beating over “unmet needs.” No Al Sharpton. Just another black-on-black crime on Milwaukee’s north side. Turn the page.

The child was the 43rd homicide recorded in Milwaukee this year. Almost two of every three victims black in a county that is 27% African-American (39% in the city itself).

Our Ms. Vicki McKenna says that former Milwaukee County “Sheriff Clarke asks a good question: where is Black Lives Matter on this outrage? If this were a young black felon shot by a cop, there would be marches in the street.

Vicki asks: “How come no outrage from them for a little black GIRL? She was THREE YEARS OLD for pete’s sake.”

Play the race card or face inconvenient truths

The essential Jason L. Riley writes:

“Accusations of white racism are all the rage in Washington these days. If you oppose school busing, you’re a racist. If you want immigration laws enforced, you’re a racist.”

As Nancy Pelosi is learning, if you dismiss A.O.C. and her “Squad” as one toke over the line, you’re also a racist. If you insist that discipline is the first lesson in a successful classroom, you will be called a white supremacist, as a certain failed school board candidate learned. The Wall Street Journal’s Riley concludes in “The race card has gone bust“:

Government programs are no substitute for the development of human capital. If wealth-redistribution schemes lifted people out of poverty, we would have closed these gaps a long time ago. Liberal politicians and activists have little interest in addressing the ways in which black behavioral choices impact inequality. It’s easier to turn out voters and raise money by equating racial imbalances with racial bias and smearing political opponents who disagree.

Blaska’s Multiple Choice Question: Your policy prescription is one of the following:

a) Pay Mr. Bratcher — and Opray Winfrey — reparations for slavery.

b) Devise ever more restrictions on the police.  (Subliminal man: Mayor Satya, Madame Brenda, Ali Muldrow)

c) Teach children they do, indeed, have to listen to the police — and the librarian, and their teachers and the cross guard and their would-be employers and …

Perhaps Black Community Outrage is finite, ergo, a zero-sum game?

They exhausted great deal of Black Community Outrage capital when that big-yapped Brandi Grayson slobbered (INCORRECTLY, it turned out) about an ELEVEN year-old Black Baby during the Whitehorse MS incident.

**Only if WHITEY*** can be implicated.

***WHITEY includes, but is not limited to, Lefty made up out of whole cloth derivations ala the George Zimmerman White Hispanic demographic.

When you stop expecting Lefty to make sense, it will make perfect sense.

After decades of peddling the snakeoil of identity politics, it was inevitable that the Left would overplay the race card and, thanks to a strategic nudge from the President, that’s exactly what they’re doing. And who could be a better collective face for this train wreck than the “Squad” (a more accurate moniker would be Four Dumb C*nts). At long last someone has had the gumption to call out the leftist race-bullies (and their enablers in the media); once again, Trump has brilliantly tapped into the frustration of the vast majority of ordinary, sensible citizens who are sick to bloody death of being lectured on the evils of white patriarchy, institutional racism, the heteronormative hegemony by the self-righteous fanatics of the Democrat party. I anticipate with great glee watching how the president’s strategy will play out over the next few days; the result, one hopes, will be the fatal disintegration of the Democrat/Socialist Party or at least the gaggle of clueless ideologues running for the presidency.

Really, perfesser. For a retired man of letters that kind of crude (and very misogynistic) invective should be well beneath you.

Unlike you, I know and am friends with MANY of X-Chromosomal Units; many use the word themselves.

          It gets worse.

Reckon we missed your slobberingly selective outrage with Bill Maher and Samantha Bee.

          Wait a minute.

Those Lefty P‘sOS get an unconditional Lefty Pass because they’re ideologically certified, plus Sarah Palin and Ivanka Trump (respectively) deserved, am I right?

I find that very hard to believe, unless you run with an unusually crude crowd. Which is not likely, in your mother’s basement.

That’s what they tell me every time I go to high tea at Downton Abbey. Just out of curiosity, is my comment more ore less crude than Rep. Tlaib’s calling the president a m*otherf*cker in public in front of her children?

“White privilege” and “white racism,” as the MAIN cause of the achievement gap, is being exposed as a diversion, and an insult, in, of all places, the mainstream media.

Blaska quotes Jason Riley’s piece in The Wall Street Journal, “The Race Card Has Gone Bust” by highlighting, “…politicians and activists have little interest in addressing the ways in which (progressive) Liberals are pushing a narrative that many white voters don’t recognize and that many black voters know is false.” Riley also says, “Telling people what you think they want to hear can be easier than telling the truth, but you also
risk insulting them. And blaming bad outcomes among blacks on the malevolence of others is not only wrong but insulting to Americans of every race.”
YES. Insulting to good parents, respectful children, good teachers and respectful cops…of all races. They know that discipline and respect matter.

George Conway, (no fan of Trump), writes in the Washington Post,: “Why, asked many an unaffluent white parent, who may never have uttered a racial slur or whose ancestors may never have held anyone in bondage, does my child have to ….be accused of “white privilege,” when the only privilege she has received came from the sweat of my brow? Why are people like me being called racist, when all I’ve done was mind my own business?”

Be aware…politicians…the race card fad is fraying. You need to help those who truly are in need without enabling insults to those who help themselves. Many affluent people give back to the community. Stop insulting them. They may refrain from giving back.

    No humor today.

Consider the worldview of those in the culture of violence.

Dave asks, “Where’s the outrage?” More important, that there is none is instructive. Omission tells us a lot more about black culture’s base values and priorities than all their wild-eyed claims before the cameras or at meetings of the MMSD.

Busted. A culture of victimization? The moral high ground of racial victimization?

Yeah, now that is humorous if someone seriously asserts that.
