Remember these names in the Spring election

Here is the roll call on the vote to impose a $28 annual vehicle registration fee for Dane County residents on top of existing state fees:

IN FAVOR 27: BAYRD, BOLLIG, CHENOWETH, CORRIGAN, DYE, ERICKSON, GILLIS, HENDRICK, KOLAR, KRAUSE, LEVIN, MATANO, MILES, McCARVILLE, NELSON, O’LOUGHLIN, RITT, RUSK, SCHAUER, SCHMIDT, VELDRAN, STUBBS, WEGLEITNER, KILMER, YOUNG, ZWEIFEL, KUHN

OPPOSED 6: DOWNING, KIEFER, RIPP, WILLETT, JONES, WILLIAMS

EXCUSED ABSENT 2: PERTL, SALOV

ABSENT 2: CLAUSIUS, FERRELL

It kicks in October 1, 2018. It will raise $2.8 million the first quarter of the year; $11.5 million annually thereafter. Now watch as future budgets back out existing transportation spending and partially fill in the vacuum with the new vehicle tax.

Tell County Board chairman Sharon Corrigan to swear out a criminal complaint against the ringleaders of Monday night’s disruption of the Dane County Board’s annual budget meeting. Her e-mail.

Dave! Your site now features commercial advertisements! Congratulations, I guess. Although the bra ads I’m looking at don’t suggest much appreciation of the cranky old white guy demographic your site attracts.

It ebbs and flows. I’m sure Dave thinks I’m on here too much. I rarely agree with him, but I’m a fan.

It’ll be a cold day in Hades before I shell out $28.00 for the privilege of using the streets my tax dollars have already paid for. If the DC Board wants more money, let them cut back on their social justice, feel-good boondoggles

    ABob,
Apparently I was not very clear before.

As a regular contributor here; are you a cranky old white guy?
If so; I am not judging you for that.

Oh, I am absolutely. I’m just a cranky old lefty trying to knock some sense into the cranky old righties here. Never too late to learn.

I must admit that occasionally you do make sense and I appreciate your input.
