Renee Good fought the law

and the law won.

Like a certain part of the anatomy, everyone has an opinion on the shooting death of that I.C.E. protestor in Minneapolis. Regardless, the Head Groundskeeper hopes parents teach their children, whether on Allied Drive or in Maple Bluff that, as a general principle, it’s not a good idea to get crossways with people holding guns. As true interacting with the local gendarmerie as with the meth-addicted Stop ’n Rob stick-up man — discretion being the better part of valor.

But please don’t call Renee Good a martyr. She was a casualty in the Left’s war against immigration enforcement, however gotten or misbegotten. A fallen soldier — a hero to many, like the 16 protesters who gathered in 28-degree F weather on a busy intersection here in Madison Wi this Sunday noon. God bless them, every one, for the freedoms we all enjoy, and for a peaceful protest.

The pity is that, instead of peacefully protesting, herself, Ms. Good (R.I.P.) played vigilante — perhaps meaning well (but don’t they all?). Not a martyr. Renee Good was a progressive operative attempting to block officers of the law from enforcing duly established federal immigration law. Those laws and that enforcement are proper subjects of debate and protest — we had an election — but not subterfuge, as a certain disgraced judge in Milwaukee is learning while awaiting sentencing.

Ms. Good accelerated into the officer rather than obey his commands. As Waukesha learned a few Christmases ago, a motor vehicle can be a deadly weapon.

Righteous delusion

Tony Robinson Jr. fought the law here in Madison WI when he assaulted that police officer in the stairwell. So did Michael Brown Jr. in Ferguson MO trying to disarm a police officer responding to his crime. Same with MAGA-crazed Ashli Babbitt — last seen busting glass January 6, 2001 at the spearpoint of an insurrectionist horde chanting “Hang Mike Pence.” Graduate level F*k Around & Find Out.

The self-righteous Left can take some credit for Ms. Good’s demise. The Resistance (as it fashions itself) sanctions guerrilla tactics in its multifarious “struggle” — whether pulling down statues of slavery abolitionists here in Madison or setting fire to Kenosha over its arrest of a (supposedly oppressed) child abductor.

Jacob Frey can spray the F-bomb all he wants. His Minneapolis — a sanctuary city like Madison — won’t allow immigration agents access to the criminals in its jails. Won’t send its uniformed officers to keep the peace on the streets during immigration enforcement. (But they want to investigate the aftermath of their dereliction.) Swimming in so much self-righteousness, Renee Good gets it into her head that she can frustrate federal authority and takes a bullet there instead.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: Just to show (like that producer in the Godfather), that Blaska is not a hard-hearted man, that it’s not all dollars and cents, we deplore the photograph some heartless bastard posted on social media of the woman’s Honda, its crash bag deployed and spattered with blood.

“This is what we voted for,” he brayed. He can go to hell.

We wish Renee Good had not been shot. We wish that Trump’s immigration enforcement was not so in your face (so to speak). We wish the woman had not been so foolish as to attempt to run down a man with a gun.

    Civil settlements for the families:

    Tony Robinson- 3 million
    Ashli Babbit – 5 million
    Justine Damond – 20 million

I figure Good will be around 10 million.

We wish Biden’s open borders had never happened.

Your three examples sued Democrats. I figure Renee Good will be around $0.00

Come on, it’s Minnesota. George Floyd got 27 million and he died of a heart attack in custody.

        They don’t sue Minnesota.

Honestly, Dave, I thought you were better than this. You have seen the videos, and you are drinking the Trump-Noem-Vance-Patel- MAGA Kool-Aid regarding Renee Good….even though you seem to be (mostly) a Never Trumper. She was trying to move her car out of the way. The agent made a bad tactical mistake: he stood in front of her car. He over-reacted, and should be held accountable. But this administration holds nobody accountable except the opposition. This country has become a police state. Let’s call it what it is.

No, she was told to exit the vehicle.

You are right. So what? It doesn’t justify the use of deadly force. This has been repeatedly litigated. His cold-blooded murder of Good, even if she was instructed to exit the vehicle, is contrary to case law and DHS policy.

Best you read more case law. Start with “Graham v. Connor, 490 U.S. 386 (1989)”. Afterwards, time for a nap.

Yeah, she was going to move the car out of the way, but she just wanted to scare him a little for fun. Unfortunately she did scare him, but it wasn’t fun.

Please, Peter McKeever, “She was trying to move her car out of the way.” You have no basis whatsoever for knowing what she was trying to do. More importantly, the ICE agent had no idea either. She had been leaning on her horn and disrupting traffic for several minutes. Her partner urged her to drive baby drive. So, she drove. In less than a second, she hit the officer and he fired. You have no basis for saying you know what any of them were thinking. What I do know is this. She dropped her kid off at school, put herself in a HIGHLY dangerous situation, and left that kid high and dry for the rest of his life just to make her stand. It is that which makes me judge her harshly, not any of the willy self-assured claims and counterclaims of video-clip watchers, none of whom have any basis for knowing what the people involved saw or did not see in a split-second showdown that should never have happened, but that she chose. I am sorry she got killed. But there are a million people in the streets of Iranian cities now all of whom I care about more. Think the evening news will get around to any of them? to all those weeping copious tears for Renee Good, and as the bard once said, “take away the rag from your face, now ain’t the time for your tears.”

Sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees. You have many facts wrong and ignore many others, including case law and policy on the use of deadly force by DHS personnel. The person using f-bombs we should be concerned about is the shooter, who is a cold-blooded murderer. Calling her a “fucking bitch” immediately after shooting her in cold blood, in the face, and at point-blank range. This, after she cheerily told him she wasn’t angry with him and clearly tried to steer around him. He should be arrested and locked up without bail. Fucking bitch is right. He should rot in hell. This is Orwellian, and he’s evil.

I can see that you’ve already swallowed the false propaganda as if it’s fact. Maybe you should put on your critical thinking cap and try again.

She was waving at cars to go around her. They want you to believe she hit him with the car, but he still had time to video everything with his cell phone. Never dropped it, kept it in focus and walked away. I want to see the hospital report on the injures he claimed to have suffered. What hospital did he go too? What doctor? What treatment? She hit that pole because she had a bullet in her head. Headlight didn’t even crack. Doctor on the scene was pushed away from her and threatened. The state has been cut out of the investigation, and the shooter is gone. Babbit was rioting and smashing her way into the capital. You claim she was a tourist. Mother of 3 shot in her car…domestic terrorist. This ICE story is pure bull#$@#.

People like you NEED to watch the following video in its entirety to understand reality. The evaluation is spot on.

Leftists hate ICE because ICE is deporting their illegal voting block. They are stoking riots now to distract from the rampant fraud they use to support the illegals. I feel bad for Ms Good being used as a useful idot by them. She f*cked around and found out.
