Former Police Oversight chair sits in jail

Why is everyone always picking on her?

Shadayra Kilfoy-Flores, the former chairperson of Madison’s Police Civilian Oversight Board, late Friday night 12-05-2025 was arrested and later booked into the Dane County Jail on four criminal ordinance violations: strangulation, battery, and two counts of disorderly conduct.

UPDATE: MPD just posted this (in its entirety): Friday, December 5: 11:15pm – Central – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 50-year-old female suspect. The victim reported being strangled by the suspect (corroborated by a witness). The suspect was arrested for domestic battery, strangulation, and disorderly conduct.

Life is hard. And if you’re stupid it’s even harder.

    Well, well, well.
“I’m shocked and surprised!”, said nobody!
I bet the Dane County jail is thrilled to have the county’s #2 cop hater in there possession.

Anyone wanna take a wild guess how many times this woman, her attorney, or her supporters scream the cops are racists next few months.

Maybe now the police oversight committee will process an actual complaint—hers.

Also; I can’t hardly wait to see the Police bodycam video of her arrest, it should be a real treat knowing her loud mouthed BS.

Someone in the Madison will probably have to file a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to get it released to the public.

I’m pretty sure you’re being sarcastic, but in case you’re not, MPD does not have body cams!

I bet she was just testing the professionalism of the arresting police officers to make sure they were not racist bigot pigs. Her report will be released as soon as the mayor get her story together.

I’ll wait to see what plea deal the DA’s office comes up with. I won’t hold my breath.

Is there an English professor in the house? Is the word “slow” (above) an adjective or an adverb?

She’s obviously got anger management issues.
Remember when she was the chair of the worthless, tax-wasting, police civilian oversight board (PCOB)?
During her term, she interrupted an MPD traffic stop of her daughter, saying she was going to call the chief and claiming don’t you know who I am?
Of course, the ethics board, made up of mayor and alder appointed residents let her slide.

No wonder she hates cops. Cops keep psychos like her from waging mayhem on the rest of us.
