Answer the damn questionnaire!
We’re hoping Brandon Maly and his ticket get re-elected to lead the Dane County Republican party this Saturday 03-15-25, even though he is Turning Point USA. Look for black smoke over Middleton at about noon. That’s not smoke from the Vatican conclave but from the musket fire and stink bombs Republicans throw at each other.

The anti-Vos crowd is now are asking conservatives to write in the name of Adrianne Melby for state schools superintendent instead of Brittany Kinser. That’s one way to re-elect Jill Underly, the Woke DEI incumbent and candidate of the teachers union and the Democrat(ic) party.
The Melby faction hates Robin Vos because the Republican Assembly Speaker did not overturn the 2020 presidential results here in Wisconsin. [UPDATE: The Huftons, challenging the Brandon Maly slate, say they were not behind the Speaker Vos recall effort and that they support Kinser for Public Instruction.]
Chairman Maly correctly tells The Capital Times that state supreme court candidate Brad Schimel “needs to do better than Dan Kelly did in Dane County in order to win.” Kelly managed only 18% of the vote here in vote-heavy Dane County. Even Donald Trump managed 23.4% here in this Madison-based county. If Schimel gets the same dead cat bounce, he wins.
Showing up is 90% of success
Kelly’s race two years ago against the eventual winner, Janet (spell it with me) Protasiewicz, set the national spending record for a judicial race. Schimel and the George Soros candidate, Susan Crawford, will beat that record.
So why are Schimel and Kinser repeating the same mistake this campaign that Kelly did two years ago? Neither of them bothered to answer the blasted League of Women Voters candidate questionnaire inserted into the morning newspaper today!
• Schimel and Crawford debate 7 p.m. today on Wisconsin’s ABC network stations.
• Early voting starts Tuesday 03-18-25.
• Madison city clerk put on leave after failing to count 193 absentee ballots in the February primary election.
• Bernie Sanders’ rally in support of Susan Crawford and socialism at UW-Parkside Friday 03-07-25 featured a transgender artist singing, “Does your God have a big fat d*ck? …”
• U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson wants to stop investigating Liz Cheney and Jan. 6 committee.
• U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan, D-Hamas, wants to keep foreign student Mahmoud Khalil on the Columbia U. campus.
We wrote in 2023, “Someone lend Dan Kelly a postage stamp!” We’re not naive; the League is more liberal than an abortion clinic. But but but … the well meaning ladies will print your answers verbatim even if they’re written in Esperanto. Be creative! Answer the question you wish they had asked!
Blaska’s Bottom Line: Do newspaper readers vote? 79% of newspaper readers vote in national or state elections vs. only 61% of non-readers, according to this self-interested site. We’re not hung up on newspaper endorsements. They can endorse our opponent so long as they give us credit for showing up.

Don’t worry Rino’s. [editor redacted] Maly will prevail and ensure every year the party will lose voters in Dane County. It’s a lot like waking up and banging your head on the headboard and then wondering why your head hurts all day. Good people have left or don’t even bother to go to the polls where 18% poll results is considered a victory.
I’m actually surprised that the transgender “artist” hasn’t been tapped to head up SOMETHING in your city. Other than being white, “zhee” is eminently qualified!
Schimel is a schlemiel.
VOTE FOR CRAWFORD
With all due respect, Mr. Blaska, your intel on the candidates running against Brandon Maly is wrong on two counts. We are not anti-Vos and we support Brittany Kinser. This week we co-hosted a fundraising event for Kinser and raised over $11,000. We’re aware of Ms. Melby’s viewpoints but are not aligned with them. As for Saturday, when the dust settles, the only thing you’ll see is Team Brandon waving white flags. Better get there early so you have a front-row seat!

The Huftons are correct about supporting Brittany Kinser.

As soon as B.S. said he was all in on Dementia Don’s p0licies and supported Musk he was toast. All he needs to do is drive around the Capital in a new “Testler”as Dump calls them.
