‘Trump cannot win’

With a little help from his friends!

After their jewel heist fails, the criminals in Quentin Tarantino’s first movie, Reservoir Dogs, hole up in a warehouse. Blaming each other for their failure, all draw guns before blazing away in a bloodbath.

It’s called a Mexican stand-off. The Republican party is facing off with itself these days due to Mr. Orange’s failure to win — or overturn — the 2020 election and leadership’s fears of calling out his constitutional perfidy. Will the party survive?

Mr. Orange and his co-conspirators blame RINOs — like his former vice president and attorney general. “Just like Bill Barr and the rest of these weak people, … Mike [Pence] did not have the courage to act,” #45 said just two days ago. So much for moving beyond January 6, fellow Republicans. Donald Trump won’t let us

Just as some nonagenarians refuse to this day to believe that Alger Hiss was a communist spy, many Republicans will go to their graves believing bamboo ballots and jiggered voting machines stole the 2020 presidential election. Mounting evidence to the contrary, to them, is evidence only of the enormity of the pederastic Deep State.

“Leaders” like Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy are afraid of these people. The Always Trumpers make stupid noises and flood party conventions out of proportion to their numbers. Vos appoints a dunderhead to ferret out voter fraud that he well knows is vapor. McCarthy thinks he needs Loren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, et al to become House Speaker, forgetting what true leadership requires.

It is wishful thinking on the part of Trump supporters to dismiss the hearings on the grounds that most Americans didn’t watch them,” Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan writes. “It will further damage Mr. Trump’s standing.” Noonan points out that Trump could triumph in a field of 17 Republican hopefuls in 2016 by getting only one-third of the vote. Trump was incredibly lucky in his Democrat opponent. The unlikeable, manipulative, and ethically challenged Hillary Clinton was the only candidate Trump could have beaten.

‘Wouldn’t it be nice if he just went away’

Former federal prosecutor and true conservative Andrew McCarthy agrees. “There are two poles in GOP politics right now: a) the too-gradually eroding pro-Trump faction that punches above its weight in intra-party matters and b) the preponderant but diffident “wouldn’t it be nice if he just went away.” …

→ ‘Trump’s obsession with January 6 is an anchor for Republicans.” — Rich Lowry, Politico.

“It is already manifest to those willing to open their eyes that Trump cannot win a national election.” — Andrew McCarthy in National Review

Fox News political analyst Brit Hume said this 06-13-22 about the Republican majority:

They’re afraid of his supporters and don’t want to come out against him directly. But they’d like him to go away. If the effect of this committee is to make his possible candidacy go away, I think a great many Republicans would privately be very glad.

Peggy Noonan’s Bottom Line: “In this atmosphere a normal upstanding Republican or a normal accomplished conservative would beat whatever the Democratic ticket is. It is only Mr. Trump who would surely lose. … America isn’t going to elect him again.

Good article. Except I don’t agree with the opinions that Trump can’t win. I do believe he will run and if he does, he I predict he will win. That’s my opinion, unchanged from 2016 when he entered. But that depends on if other strong Republicans announce. Desantis and Pompeo are strong, no one else is. There is a huge other side of this argument that you could explore. Those rational people who predict he will run and win. A lot of who is saying that are not MAGA disciples, but remember what what he did. We’ll shall see. I’m not part of the “Always Trumpers” group, but looking to take back our country at all cost.

I’d be careful making predictions about Trump’s “electability” that sound like retreads of the predictions from 2016. If Trump was lucky in his opponent in 2016, he’d be twice as lucky in 2024. Biden? Please. And who else is on the Democrat horizon. Beto? Mayor Pete? Kackling Kamala? Pocahontas? If he runs, I’ll vote for him, but I’d prefer to see someone more stable, like DeSantis or Pence, at the top of the ticket.

One problem the gop needs to address is if they don’t pick trump he will be on the sidelines acting like a child and disrupting their campaign You quoted Noonan. She also said when your drowning let go of the anvil. .Grifterman needs to be shut down now. Over a million of taxpayers money and nothing but bad press. Vos keeps extending this mess and throwing more money at it. Who’s going to be paying that 2 grand a day fine? My guess; you and me. Vos needs to be taken to task, removed from office and just run his popcorn wagon.

The Blogge Idiot thinks Lefty generally, and DementiaJKe specifically, qualify as “stable?”

Heh! That’d be cute were it not so cringe-inducingly clueless.

The Blood-Bath of Biblical Proportions ’round November, assuming the Alzheimer Addled JoKe even makes it that far, will confirm that unequivocally!

    Run, Trump run.
    The Republican party deserves you.

  5. Who cares what Brit Hume or Peggy Noonan think? They are always wrong. The Dems have no good candidates to run against us. They are all losers. Trump won in 2020. “2000 Mules.” Here’s a good ticket, Trump/DeSantis. We’ll clean their clocks.

One third of Republicans won’t vote Trump. He couldn’t beat Biden. After January 6, he won’t be able to beat criminal charges. Don’t be such a RITO!

      • Dave says:

        RITO Lol

      • The truth will come out in five years on the election fraud for those of you slow thinkers who can’t put two and two together like you probably thought Trump colluded with Russia and had a bad phone call with Ukraine and incited the J6 riot. The truth will finally come out and you’ll all have egg on your faces AGAIN. I’m not a MAGA Republican. I want what’s best for our country like Trump gave us. And you don’t know one third of the Republicans or how they vote. He beat Biden.

        • David Blaska says:

Step away from the Kool Aid. January 6 was what is best for our country? Lying about stolen elections because the ego maniac in the White House couldn’t admit that he was a loser?

    • richard lesiak says:

You think DeSantis is going to play second fiddle to that deranged con man T-rump? Are you nuts? Rump is so radioactive even the pizza guy refuses to deliver to him.

  7. Bill Cleary says:

I’m all for Desantis as the next President of the United States. As I am writing this, I am watching the lame stream media tell us that there is a clear and present danger in the people on the right to overthrow the 2016 election and perhaps elections moving forward. The lame stream media is
trying to paint many republicans who are running for office as those who support former President Trump.

They are now trying to paint those of us who are conservatives as being violent. All of this coming from a January 6th committee that is made up primarily by those on the left. This all the while while we have evidence that purportedly shows that our current President has showered with his daughter, Ashley Biden, yet crickets from the lame stream media on that.

We have even seen evidence that reporters who were looking into that allegation, had their houses raided by the F.B.I in order to take away any evidence of Ashley Biden’s allegation about her father, Joe Biden.

Was this ordered by Merrick Garland or Joe Biden?

Just imagine if President Donald Trump had done something similar. The press would be constantly harping about this breach of the 1st Amendment and the presses right to question our leaders. (And rightfully so.)

Even Walter Chronkite would come back from the dead to report this breach of journalistic integrity.

Yet crickets from our lame stream media.

    Why is that?

  8. Bill Cleary says:

Okay Richard, let me ask you this.

How is it possible that according to CBS News: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/joe-biden-popular-vote-record-barack-obama-us-presidential-election-donald-trump/ Biden got 81 Million more votes than Obama when Obama ran for President in 2008. CBS reported that Biden got more votes than any Presidential candidate in history.

Now, contrast this to this vid that we saw from many alt. news organizations on the right, but also this one from the New York Post: https://nypost.com/2022/04/06/obama-backs-biden-as-video-shows-audience-ignoring-president/

If so many people so overwhelmingly voted for Biden, by a factor of 81 Million more votes than Obama got in the 2008 election, then why is everyone in the room ignoring Biden and focusing in on Obama?

This in a crowd of people who were not let’s just say conservative republican voters.

I mean common man, even I felt sorry for Biden in that vid, and I don’t even like the guy!

Also consider this story from “revolver news: ” Democrat Hatchet Man Norm Eisen’s Fingerprints Are All Over a Dark New Element of the Jan 6 Witch Hunt”

This article points out in part this thought and vid from Elizabeth Neumann.

“In a particularly shocking portion of the this Homeland Security Committee’s hearing, Neumann addresses the supposed threat of terrorist violence (as on January 6) emerging from those who dare to question the validity of the 2020 election. Neumann estimates that there are approximately 51 million American citizens who are skeptical about the 2020 election, though she is generous enough not to characterize the entire group as terrorists. She does however go on to say that at least 250k of those pesky election deniers are terrorist threats, and she likens their existence to the presence of an equivalent number of ISIS sympathizers in the country!”

    ISIS sympathizers?

Interesting how birds of a feather flock together.

You wanted proof, I just gave it to you.

    • David Blaska says:

What is your point? Proof of what? And your math/facts are screwy. Biden did not get “81 million more votes than Obama got in the 2008 election.” Biden’s total vote = 81 million.

  9. richard lesiak says:

You need work on your reading comprehension skills Bill. Biden DID NOT get 81m MORE votes than Obama. Obama got 69m; Biden 81m. The 81m was 51.3% of the vote. Trump got 46.9% of the vote; 74m. Also beating Obama’s total of 69.5%. It’s called turnout buddy. If Biden did what you’re saying his total vote would be 150m. An impossible number. Trump lost because he is a nutjob, con man fool. Get over it. The rest of your post is nothing more than some rightwing nonsense from websites run by crazies. If you want to follow crazy read the new Texas gop platform that just came out of their convention. Otherwise; MATC has some great adult education classes for you to take.

    • Except basement Biden did not get 81 million legitimate votes. How many fraudulent ballots are acceptable to you? How many forged, counterfeited, harvested, out of state, underage, non citizen, duplicate, computer switched votes/ballots are acceptable? If you say “zero”, you are correct. If you say “whatever it takes to win,” you have condoned election fraud which is what the Democrats did. Biggest heist in American history.

      • David Blaska says:

You’re the one alleging fraudulent votes. You tell us how many. Trump said he wanted the State of Georgia to find him 11,780 votes so he could win. Now tell us who is the fraud. Why would Republican state officials in Georgia (and Arizona) try to throw the election to Joe Biden if Trump really won?

      • richard lesiak says:

For the love of god better get a hobby. Maybe gotch needs help with his daisy patch. Repeating the same crap for two years and you haven’t proved anything. Your getting boring; try a new position .

        • At least I haven’t been following and repeating CNN and MSNBC who are been proven 90% wrong. At least Hannity has never been wrong in 20 years of reporting his opinions and investigative reports. So I suppose you think it’s okay to protest outside a SCOTUS home? It’s illegal. I suppose you think calling people names makes you smart. It doesn’t. But you’ve proven my point that you and your ilk are a lost cause. I don’t repeat anything.

  10. Bill Cleary says:

    David and Richard,

I stand corrected. That’s what happens when you work too late and get up early. But, for the record, Biden got 80 million votes in his first run for the Presidency. Obama only 69.5 million in his first run for Presidency.

So I ask again, why does Joe appear to be the odd man in the room that no one wanted to talk to when Obama was working a room of people who were very glad to see him?

It still does not make sense.

  11. Mark+Lemberger says:

Biden/Harris did NOT get 11,000,000 more votes than Obama.
I don’t know that Biden won because we can’t count the phony votes mailed in during an overhyped epidemic. $450,000,000 Zuckerbucks were spent in swing counties nation wide for what? Cupcakes? Has this been audited? No. One county in Georgia flipped, others here and there easily identified by Meta data and who knows?
Follow the money in Brown County for starters.
Trump had grass root enthusiasm like no one has ever seen. Slo’ Joe and the Ho? Zero.

This election was “Revenge of the Swamp” and still is. The Washington Party is impeaching Trump 3.0. Like the Bourbon royalty “they have learned nothing and forgotten nothing.” And the country club Repubs can’t wait to take their turn at the trough. “Oh boy!” they say: open borders, endless losing wars, surrender every cultural battle in that war, deficit spending as far as the eye can see roll over for the media, grow the bureaucracy.
    THAT is what Trump threatened.

The RINOS don’t like it at all. So they can vote for no one. Not Romney, McCain, Bush or the other winners they serve up to us.
    TRUMP! You magnificent bastard!
