We’re blessed to have our whole litter at home to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus.

Not only was Jesus born to a virgin, his mother Mary, but he was the Son of God, who loves us so much that He sent his only Son to earth to be born, to live among us and to be crucified for our sins. Jesus was the most influential person in the history of the planet, not only did He change human hearts and minds, He changed time as well, moving the calendar from BC to AD.

Enjoy the holiday. (aka: Holy Day) as you share Christmas traditions with your families.

Merry Christmas, my good Christian friends. Grace and Peace to you and yours.

    Good Dog Happy Man,

I want to thank you for your thoughts on this Christmas Eve. Christ is the reason for the season! Your words remind me of the Fatima Prayer in the Rosary: “O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy.”

I find myself saying that prayer often as sometimes life throws difficulties at us that we struggle to understand and deal with, but I know that Almighty God has His reasons for doing so.

BTW- If anyone needs a way of meditation and a way of finding some bliss in this otherwise insane time that we live in, pray the Rosary and you will find some solace in life as the Rosary points out in the Rosary Prayer that there is a life beyond what we have now.

“Let us pray. * O God, whose only-begotten Son by his life, death and Resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech thee, that by meditating upon these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.”

May you and yours have a very merry Christmas.

    Sentient 7,

Thank you very much for your links to great thoughts from great thinkers of yesteryear. I am not
familiar with the book: “How the World’s Biggest Corporations are Laying the Foundation for Socialism” but have just ordered it online and am looking forward to reading it soon. Friedrich von Hayek’s book “The Road to Serfdom” remains one of the best books I have ever read. Positively brilliant reading. One has to stand in awe and wonder of such great thinkers and marvel that their thoughts are there for us to read on how NOT TO RUN an ECONOMY! ANY ECONOMY!

Finally, an accurate view of the Stately Manor. I assume that is the Squire and the Lovely Lisa in the garden. Merry Christmas to them and to all the rest.
