Blaska Policy Werkes

David Blaska, going out of his way to provoke progressives in Madison WI to make America safe for democracy!

A shame that the WI State Journal can find no expert to support the Rittenhouse jury’s verdict or criticize civil authorities for abandoning Kenosha in its hour of need. Their syndicated, Page 1 story Sunday spanned America in search of experts who agreed with their basic premise: that civil rights protesters will be gunned down on sight now that Kyle Rittenhouse is back on the range, sighting in his AR-15.

“Legal experts expect gunplay” was the headline. Well, the legal experts they chose to quote, anyway.

Nary, the reader is expected to believe, exists an expert in America who believes that it was the right verdict or that the unrestrained looting, arson, and vandalism invited that gunplay. That Defund the Police crowd who orders law enforcement to stand down might have created the vacuum that sucked in the nut cases like Joseph Rosenbaum and wannabe’s like Kyle Rittenhouse.

→ “Consultant wants Madison police to be even less visible.” (Read & weep!)

Reparations by other means

Among others quoted in the syndicated story is Keith Findlay, “a professor of criminal law at UW-Madison.” Not reported is that Finlay a sponsor of the new City of Madison’s Police Civilian Review Board. Which turns out to be yet another BLM scam! Good on Chris Rickert for revealing that these police bashers now are trying to expropriate $20,000 for its leader. And between $3,000 to $5,000 for each of its 13 members. They’re already paid $100 a month and only two other committees (out of a thicket of some 80 civilian committees) are paid anything at all, and then just a fraction of the cop bashers.

Blame this on Rittenhouse!

We’ve been talking about the Woke’s war on discipline. Kid nabbed for a loaded firearm at Verona high school.

Flowers appeared in court Friday and was released from custody on a signature bond. He was ordered not to possess any weapons. At the time of his arrest Wednesday [11-17-21], Flowers was already on a signature bond for a felony theft charge issued in October, which also barred him from possessing any weapons. (Read & Weep!)

Difference is that Mr. Flowers was not defending his school against arson, looting, or vandalism.

The other piece in Sunday’s WI State Journal reports that “Hundreds across the U.S. turn out to protest acquittal.” Hundreds! From sea to shining sea! From the New York highlands to the gulf stream waters! HUNDREDS! That must include the 50 (seems a little high) social justice warriors summoned by Freedom Inc. here in progressive Madison WI. The Capital Times reports it like it was the College of Cardinals electing a pope. Guess what? They suspect (wait for it): Racism!

Elsewhere, Rittenhouse defense counsel Mark Richards “had harsh words for some coverage he saw on CNN and MSNBC.”

“It makes me angry that they can’t take the time to at least get the generic, basic facts correct, because it didn’t fit into the story they wanted to tell.”

Blaska’s Bottom Line: Lot of that going around these days.

Are CNN and MSNBC about to make Kyle Rittenhouse rich?

Sad when your spokesperson, Jesse Jackson, is a washed up radical chasing the almighty buck.

Yes, and Chief Barnes said he will implement all 69 recommendations and per Isthmus, “present an “accountability metric” to the public to track the department’s progress.” https://isthmus.com/news/news/a-process-of-deep-reflection/

I submitted an online comment in response to their article, criticizing Quattrone and MPD leadership but it wasn’t published. Yet, they did publish “Bonnie Roe’s” praise piece. So much for diversity of thought.

The “renowned” Quattrone Center, she writes. Actually, it’s yet another elitist think tank with little boots on the ground experience and an elitist, Progressive approach to criminal justice reform (AKA cops are the problem).

    2. The Journal has become just another leftist opinion piece. Shame on them.

I hope he sues the h*ll out of every single person who slandered him. Every single one.

How did Tucker Carlson get access to Rittenhouse and his defense team while the trial was going on?

Easy now Ricky. We’re still trying to figure out Vince Foster’s suicide with 2 bullets to the back of the head.

    3. Because the defendant approved it (apparently over the objections of his counsel) — as is his right.

Wisconsin Public Radio had a show that had an expert who thought that the jury got it right. WSJ should do the same. Sad that they didn’t show both sides to the story.
