Once burned, twice learned: Gov. Evers has the National Guard ready this time. Surrounding police agencies are on standby. Even Chicago, 65 miles south of Kenosha, has canceled leave for its officers. There’s no threat Kyle Rittenhouse will burn down Kenosha; that’s Rosenbaum, Huber & Grosskreutz Inc. That was misdemeanor trespassing not an armed insurrection worse than 9/11, Pearl Harbor, and the War of 1812 put together.

What a miscarriage of justice that people involved in 1/6 are still languishing in prison, as murderers and thugs walk away without even being charged with crimes. The left talks about privilege? Yeah, there’s privilege. LIBERAL privilege.
The same people who treat 1/6 as if it was worse than 9/11 and the other events you mentioned still refer to last summer’s riots, with its ambushes on cops, burning down of government buildings, destroying businesses, and assaulting civilians, as protests.
How do you carry on intelligent conversations with people who think like this?

People “who think like this” are fanatical ideologues and as such are beyond the reach of reason. There’s only one way to deal with them, the insurrection on Jan. 6th being the prime example. Next time, the insurrectionists will be armed to the teeth (as they should have been on the 6th); the toxic agenda of Obama’s third term should be enough to guarantee it. All that’s left to determine is the when and the where.

I call it domestic terrorism. And the burning down of any federal buildings would constitute treason.

What I’m proposing is to take a knife to a knife fight. Even if Republicans sweep the next election, the damage wrought by the lunatic left will remain in place and they’ll find another way, no matter how underhanded, to return to power (though it’s hard to imagine how they could top their performance of 2020), probably sooner rather than later. They need to be destroyed root and branch, not just sidelined for a while.

The way justice is being wielded as a tool should frighten every American. We’re not living in a Communist country and we shouldn’t have to live in fear of our own government. One set of rules for leftists, another set for conservative. This doesn’t belong here.
We’ve been betrayed by the very government whose obligation it is to protect us. I have little faith that they or the police can keep us safe. And in return for being treated like a second class citizen, I’m forced to continue to pay more in taxes, no questions asked.

Justice in America? We have a conservative Supreme Court, a conservative WSC, a gop run state legislature. YOU guys are in charge so stop whining about a Dane Co. DA being a Dem. Mitch packed the courts for you. There seems to be two sets of rules because you made it that way. You want to go to the wall over your personal freedom to not wear a mask, but want to tell women what to do with their bodies. Move to Texas; they have a system you would love.

He may as well have said:

Aren’t the jurors from Kenosha, who know very well what happened to their city last year? Yet the prosecution is telling them not to believe their own eyes and ears by making it seem that the “victims” engaged in minor destructive acts. What an insult.
