Kenosha County, we are so provoked

Judged by 12, not carried by 6!

We have a winner: “Only way Kyle Rittenhouse is found guilty is if the jury votes by mail.”

Runner-up: “Rittenhouse provoked bloodshed in Kenosha” — prosecution attorney. Yeah, and Fort Sumter provoked the Confederacy.

Honorable mention, courtesy of Brian Westrate: “No more obvious example of the entitlement mentality than thinking you can attack an armed person without consequence.”

Once burned, twice learned: Gov. Evers has the National Guard ready this time. Surrounding police agencies are on standby. Even Chicago, 65 miles south of Kenosha, has canceled leave for its officers. There’s no threat Kyle Rittenhouse will burn down Kenosha; that’s Rosenbaum, Huber & Grosskreutz Inc. The Eisenhower-era mainframe computer here at the Werkes predicts not guilty verdicts across the board in two days or less. It also predicts next month will be December.

Kenosha protest shooting

A political Rorschach test

Realizing that the prosecution’s case is beyond thin, the Woke news media is trashing the presiding judge in order to delegitimize the expected innocent verdict. Bruce Schroeder is biased because — get this! — the ring tone on his smartphone is “God bless the USA.” For those who cannot detect the Left’s dog whistle, it’s the same tune played at Donald Trump rallies, John Nichols lectures. He quotes Elie Mystal (“Abolish the U.S. Senate“) as one of his legal experts.

“What is most striking about the trial,” law prof Jonathan Turley writes, “is that, even more than a year later, prosecutors seem to be learning critical details at the same time as the jury.” …

For those watching the trial, there was a shocking disconnect from prior news coverage and the actual evidence. … It will be hard for prosecutors in the Rittenhouse case to make this cat walk backward. They promised the jury that it would see a vigilante rampaging in utter disregard of human life. Instead, the jury saw a much more confusing, chaotic scene in which Rittenhouse was threatened with a gun, hit repeatedly and chased down a street. …

The Rittenhouse case may prove, yet again, how a prosecutor satisfying public outcry can wind up sacrificing a criminal case.

District attorneys ARE partisan. Kenosha and Dane counties are elected Democrats. Push comes to shove, they choose to prosecute conservatives, not liberals. Freedom Inc. can shut down the Madison school board’s annual budget meeting; BLM shut down rush hour traffic — no prosecution despite complaints lodged with the police. Prosecutorial over-reach is a danger to the republic, witness Wisconsin’s John Doe witch hunts and James Comey’s faked FISA application.

Kenosha County never charged Grosskreutz, for instance, for his suspended concealed carry license. He is a social justice warrior with The People’ Revolution Movement. (Source here.)

→ “Inside the Peoples’ Revolution — Gang ties, felonies …” at Wisconsin Right Now describes the group’s attack on the home of a Wauwatosa police officer.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: Q. What does it tell you that MSNBC skipped the defense summation after airing the prosecutor’s closing argument?

A. That MSNBC and their ilk are as responsible for the “mostly peaceful” riots across America as their allies in BLM, Antifa, and Peoples’ Revolution Movement. In many ways, the Woke news media provoked Rosenbaum, Huber, and Grosskreutz.

What provokes YOU?

And the ONLY real reason we know Kyle was attacked and his life threatened by criminal thugs is because of videos that night taken by citizens and independent journalists who risked their lives.

Otherwise they would have gotten away with their politically motivated lies.

Meanwhile the feds conceal thousands of hours of video from Jan. 6 that show people being let in to the Capitol (the big reinforced doors that open from the inside) and egged on by federal agents and other provocateurs. That was misdemeanor trespassing not an armed insurrection worse than 9/11, Pearl Harbor, and the War of 1812 put together.

The mainstream media have literally brainwashed much of our population.

    Turn off CNN forever!

What a miscarriage of justice that people involved in 1/6 are still languishing in prison, as murderers and thugs walk away without even being charged with crimes. The left talks about privilege? Yeah, there’s privilege. LIBERAL privilege.

The same people who treat 1/6 as if it was worse than 9/11 and the other events you mentioned still refer to last summer’s riots, with its ambushes on cops, burning down of government buildings, destroying businesses, and assaulting civilians, as protests.

How do you carry on intelligent conversations with people who think like this?

People “who think like this” are fanatical ideologues and as such are beyond the reach of reason. There’s only one way to deal with them, the insurrection on Jan. 6th being the prime example. Next time, the insurrectionists will be armed to the teeth (as they should have been on the 6th); the toxic agenda of Obama’s third term should be enough to guarantee it. All that’s left to determine is the when and the where.

          David Gerard,

What do you call months of riots, burning down government buildings, ambushing & attempting to maim cops, destroying people’s livelihoods, assaulting civilians, and generating fear inside the hearts of law-abiding Americans?

I call it domestic terrorism. And the burning down of any federal buildings would constitute treason.

We’ve already disavowed 1/6, which is proving to be not what the media has portrayed. Why do leftists refuse to disavow the anarchy displayed all last summer? Unless you think it’s acceptable.

How much better does that make us as human beings if we stoop to the left’s level of depravity? I refuse to go there.

Helping to get non-establishment, patriotic conservatives elected to office is one big way out of this mess. That, and moving out of Progressive cities.

What I’m proposing is to take a knife to a knife fight. Even if Republicans sweep the next election, the damage wrought by the lunatic left will remain in place and they’ll find another way, no matter how underhanded, to return to power (though it’s hard to imagine how they could top their performance of 2020), probably sooner rather than later. They need to be destroyed root and branch, not just sidelined for a while.

Liberal media has moved way past the point of just being irresponsible. What kind of people stoke flames, knowing full well that they’re emboldening unstable people and helping to destroy lives in the process? You have to be a special kind of dastardly to do that.

Either that or stupid. Speaking of which, leftists are still referring to last year’s destruction as “protests.” Seriously? Are they so biased and so unwilling to see what’s right in front of them, or are they just so tuned into MSNBC, etc. and aren’t being exposed to the truth? I’d truly like to know.

The way justice is being wielded as a tool should frighten every American. We’re not living in a Communist country and we shouldn’t have to live in fear of our own government. One set of rules for leftists, another set for conservative. This doesn’t belong here.

We’ve been betrayed by the very government whose obligation it is to protect us. I have little faith that they or the police can keep us safe. And in return for being treated like a second class citizen, I’m forced to continue to pay more in taxes, no questions asked.

Justice in America? We have a conservative Supreme Court, a conservative WSC, a gop run state legislature. YOU guys are in charge so stop whining about a Dane Co. DA being a Dem. Mitch packed the courts for you. There seems to be two sets of rules because you made it that way. You want to go to the wall over your personal freedom to not wear a mask, but want to tell women what to do with their bodies. Move to Texas; they have a system you would love.

      • Liberty says:

Irrelevant comment, yet again. And please research what “packing the courts” means.

Oh, and have you had a chance to check out any of the left leaning blogs mentioned yesterday? You’d fit in perfectly at Greg Humphrey’s blog (link to the right).

Yeah, the woke media helped provoke the violence, but nobody can hold a candle to to Ichabod Evers. This was within HOURS of the shooting:

“While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country.”

He may as well have said:

“We have no idea what happened in Kenosha today, but it sure looks like the cops mercilessly gunned down another innocent black man. Maybe right thinking people ought to let Kenosha know what they think about this.”

Evers is such a scumbag! For a governor to pour gasoline on a raging fire is totally inexcusable.

He ought to be booted by the voters for that alone next year. Never mind his pathetic weakness and failure on countless other scores.

The $2 million raised on go fund me goes to pay the lawyers. More money will be needed. He needs a job very quickly. Will you hire him?

We know he is receiving counselling for PTSD. He will likely need medications like Adderall and Seroquel. Who will pay for the Obamacare premiums?

Who will pay for his non-credit nursing school classes at ASU?

    Who will pay for tutoring?

Or will you use him, make him your poster child, and neglect him?

Judge Bruce Schroeder had to instruct the jury to ignore Biden’s “white supremacist” blood libel. That says a lot about where we are as a country right now.
Lefties have to play the race card. It’s the only card in their deck.

But Zhou Bai-Din is just following the historic, (clean and articulate), but butt-nekkid Emperor “Let Them Eat Hope” Urkel the First’s own anti-cop bigotry.
Remember BHO’s (pronounced ‘bee hose’ ), “The police acted stupidly.”
If brains were dynamite, Biden couldn’t blow his own nose.

Funny how all of the players here are white, yet because of the context in which the riots occurred (Jacob Blake, George Floyd), suddenly these pasty, low-life Lefty crank addicts in the militant wing of the Democrat Party, (BLM and Antifa), …have been magically transmogrified by the race-hustlers and their Marxist allies into the Pillsbury Homeboyz.

So Ichabod Evers now thinks to deploy the National Guard to, you know, guard stuff.
Now the SJW’s have to decide, Riot or not to riot.
Satya probably doesn’t want to thank the rioters for their anger, arson, looting, beatings etc. Or hell, maybe she does. Where do State St. merchants get some Koreans for their roof tops. Cops will stand down and the Sheriffs will be practicing their genuflections.
Someone explain to the SJWs that vigilantism results from inadequate police protection.
Kyle R. might be the first of many.
Its up to the elected officials.

Guess what? They, (State & County) DISMISSED an egregious DUI on October 28th, 2021; He refused the test when pulled over in January 2021. His blood draw was .223. Guessin’ the ADA had more important things for Mr. Grosskreutz to attend to…

    Free Kyle Rittenhouse.
(with purchase of a Kyle Rittenhouse action figure of equal or greater value.)

No, seriously, we’re going to need a veteran soldier of the BLM/Antifa/Democrat City Riots on the front lines again if the Lefty mob decides to act up again.

“That is what provokes this entire incident,” LittleBinger told jurors during his gun-waving close. “When the defendant provokes this incident, he loses the right to self-defense. You cannot claim self-defense against a danger you create.”

What?!!! That dog don’t hunt. Sounds like a classic case blaming the victim, …
“She was raped because her sexy dress was too provocative.”

No, dumbass, foolhardy idiots waving weapons around without trigger discipline is how you get innocent people accidentally killed. LittleBinger is too stupid to be anywhere around firearms. Judging by his courtroom antics, he probably shouldn’t be allowed to practice law, either.

I previously thought the prosecution was being willfully ignorant to force a mistrial. I now believe they are just stupid.

Aren’t the jurors from Kenosha, who know very well what happened to their city last year? Yet the prosecution is telling them not to believe their own eyes and ears by making it seem that the “victims” engaged in minor destructive acts. What an insult.

Two masked Karens on the jury are afraid for their own safety, it might be a hung jury.
Kyle Rittenhouse should offer his services providing personal protection for them.

When Kyle Rittenhouse is found not guilty, the militant wings of the Democrat Party,
BLM and Antifa, will be ecstatic, too. It’s a win-win for everyone.
They’ll be able to do some early Black Friday “‘shopping'”.

“You can’t just defend yourself like that at a Black Lives Matter riot. Who da f*** does he think he is?” local BLM Chairperson Jerome McStinky said. “Therefore, if that kid is acquitted, we is going to loot the s**t out of the m*******r.”

D’Skank Jones has been eyeing a new pair of Nikes ever since the trial started.

President* Zhou Bai-Den also weighed in, saying, “As a mater of principle, BLM should be able to burn, loot and murder on days besides Black Friday.”

Alexandria Occassional-Cortex (D-NY) then demanded that they change the name of
“Black Friday” to “Friday of Color”.
