What are Progressives good for?
Sparky belched out this dot-matrix list:
- Critical race theory. Institutional racism, implicit bias, white privilege, white fragility, etc.
- School choice only for the rich. Top-down government schools for everyone else. Get lost, Kaleem Caire and other black education reformers.
- Defund, reimagine, reform, prosecute, second-guess etc., caricature the police.
- Men playing women’s sports.
- We’re all gonna die paranoia. Wear a face mask alone in your car. The Greta Thunberg syndrome.
- Rule by Expert / Follow the Science (which is Settled). Dr. Fauci as physician king. Eugenics, anyone?
- Drag queen story hour for kindergarteners.
- Climate change — it caused the last ice age, didn’t it?
- Guns cause crime. Fly a huge magnet over Chicago to disarm the gang bangers.
- Socialism. Free college, free health care, free housing, guaranteed annual wage. You earned it; they want it.
- Unlimited government spending. “Unmet needs!” Biden’s $6 Trillion in new spending! What part of “free” don’t you understand?
- Top-down arrogance. Government must re-educate its deplorable citizens so they can be worthy of their government. Mandatory racial sensitivity training. Elizabeth’s Warren’s wagging finger. “You didn’t build that.”
- Support America’s enemies abroad. Divest in Israel; ship money to Iran.
- Rewrite the Constitution — written by wealthy white men in 1619.
- Killing babies is an inalienable right but executing convicted murders is an injustice.
- Rewrite history. Abraham Lincoln was a racist. So is a huge boulder deposited by the last glacier 12,000 years ago. Both must be removed from the UW-Madison campus!
- Orwellian language. Riots — aka “social justice” — are the result of “mostly peaceful” protests. “Economic justice” translates as: you earned it, we’ll take it.
- Cancel Culture. Burn books by Dr. Seuss. Take pancake syrup off the shelves. Fire a New York Times editor for publishing an op ed by U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton.
- Intimidate, don’t persuade. “We need some muscle over here.” The Madison mob warned the state senator not to take pictures before they beat him. Expect to be F-bombed outside your window at midnight if you don’t fall in line. Hoard plywood if you got plate glass on State Street.
- Separate but unequal standards of justice. Social justice warriors can shut down the Madison school board budget meeting and the county board’s deliberations over infrastructure; stop traffic on E. Washington Ave., and John Nolen Drive; scare children at the private residences of elected officials. To this day, not one of those insurrectionists has been arrested.
- Progressive heroes: A.O.C., Ilhan Omar, Mayor Satya, Rebecca Kemble, John Nichols, Nada Elmikoshfi, Brandi Grayson, Prof. Sami Schalk, “Mad Max” Prestigiacomo. Freedom Inc. Real patriots, that bunch.
- Hoaxers: Jussie Smollett, the Ferguson MO “Hands up, don’t shoot!” urban myth, Madison’s Lighter Fluid girl, Adam Schiff and Russian Collusion.
- Outright racism. Biden’s ag department sent relief money to farmers — unless they were white. Nine of the 11 citizens on the Madison police review committee cannot be white.
- Black Lives Matter — only if killed by white police while resisting arrest. Shooting victims in Minneapolis up 90% compared with the first half of last year after the George Floyd riots.
- Infantilizing black people. Rugged individualism, the work ethic, planning for the future, good grammar, politeness etc. are not tactics for success but only “aspects and assumptions of White Culture.” That’s according to the Smithsonian Institute.
- Disaster: Seattle’s Capital Hill Autonomous Zone, 100+ straight days of rioting in Portland, the immigration crisis at the border, Chicago as a shooting gallery. Progressives cannot govern.
- Pick your pronouns.
- “Birthing people.”
Blaska’s Bottom Line: Progressives have taken over the Democrat(ic) party, the news media, entertainment industry, K-12 schools and higher ed. They are penetrating Wall Street and major employers. They must be stopped.

Some of these likely overlap some of yours.
• Side Step the United States Constitution, Actual Justice, and Laws – mobs of vigilante minded social justice warriors (SJW’s) destroy the lives of targets regardless of actual facts, inconvenient facts that do not support the vigilante narrative are simply ignored and not acknowledged.
• Civil rights for me but not for thee – this one is self-evident of social justice warrior mentality, everyone else needs to simply sit down and shut up.
• Bastardize the United States Constitution – Look no further than the two unconstitutional impeachments of President Trump.
• Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime – it’s immoral totalitarian Marxists that choose their target and then set out in search of things they can use to smear or destroy them and if they can’t find something they fabricate something with false narratives. Your “show me the man and I’ll show you the crime” thinking is immoral, anti-Constitutional, anti-American and Marxist mentality.
• Destruction of the Fourth Estate – now we have Pravda like media attack dogs spewing pure propaganda.
• The Death of Common Sense – Common Sense Has Been Buried in the Quaint Anecdotes of History.
• Acute Hysteria Replaces Common Sense – A continuous severe or intense degree of exaggerated or uncontrollable emotion or excitement, especially among a group of people.
• Make Society Ignorant – Dumb-down education standards across the board to the least common denominator so everyone can “pass” and get a participation trophy.
• Stupid People Rule the Masses – Stupid people have now been enabled to rule over everyone.
• Virtue Signaling Required To Keep Mobs of Stupid People at Bay – virtue signaling and the an unwillingness of the general public to publicly confront mobs of stupid people is enabling and empowering stupidity.
I’m sure we could add to this list until the day pigs sprout wings and fly to the moon.

Now this is the stuff conservatives & libertarians can and should rally around. I’d much rather focus on exposing the Democratic party for what they’ve become & the damage they’ve done to this country than in-fight about Trump. We’ll probably never be on the same page when it comes to Trump. Fighting about him only divides us and stoke resentment.
Key focus: Winning back the House & Senate then the presidency in 2024.

Our lawsuit will be filed Tuesday 06-29-21. It is hardly “one and done,” Lesiak. My finances are my business. Do you really want to defend racial discrimination? Or is your hatred of police so intense you are willing to overlook the Constitution? Not looking for an Rachel Maddow response.

Quite a few comments on this blog have been “speculative nonsense” over time. I am not in competition with anyone over who can do a longer list. My lightly satiric talking points are valid and clear. I stand by them. You want speculation? Sentient7 thinks RonAnon is the combined embodiment of Jesus Christ, FDR, MLK and some others, a saintly, supernatural creature. Check out his la-la post on the “Kinder, Gentler Republican” forum.

I think you need to look up the definition of “speculative.” There is not a single aspect of Sentient7’s comments about the character of Ron Johnson, that would be considered speculative. You don’t have agree with them, but they are not theoretical. On the other hand with your , “possible future voter nullification,” you were whining about what conservatives might do in the future. That’s called speculating.

I am truly embarrassed that I ever wasted one minute of time, one dollar of money, or one calorie of energy volunteering with the “progressive cause”.
Ugh…. blech…. I have such shame.
They have the Reverse Midas Touch…. everything they touch turns to sh!t. Toxic, poisonous, destructive, dishonest, manipulative. And they have gotten ten times worse since I walked away for good.
There are(were) some decent folks involved with the cause that I met. But there were also a huge number of strange individuals with axes to grind, intolerant people with anger management issues just underneath the surface. Almost all of them white by the way with nice incomes and comfortable homes…. a few of them are totally condescending towards other races and towards ANYONE with a different opinion, including voters who didn’t vote for “their candidate”… which would send more than a few of them into hysterical rages.
Again, I really regret ever contributing to progressive causes which have metastasized to the point of openly advocating the destruction of civil society and organized institutions.
