Hey nut jobs! Book your Washington D.C. hotel room for August!

Back away from the tin foil — and the bamboo

While Maricopa County ferrets out the imported bamboo ballots that “defeated” Donald Trump (wink! wink!), hope builds among the RITOS (Republicans in Trump Only) that the fake presidency of Uncle Joe Biden will be cast into the furnaces of hell like the anti-Popes of the 15th Century. If Arizona comes up short, Gen. Mike Flynn will lead the “Minny-mar” coup. Either way, the one true President will be reinstated like the Bourbon kings of post-Napoleon France. Mike Pence, you’ve been warned!

Gallows washington D.C. Trump insurrection

No noose is good news

Dang me, dang me. They ought to take a rope and … Pence says he and Trump may never ‘See eye to eye’ on Capitol riot. “As I said that night, January 6 was a dark day in the history of the United States of America,” Pence told attendees at the Lincoln-Reagan Dinner in Manchester NH.

According to The Dispatch:

The New York Times reported earlier this week that former President Trump “has been telling a number of people he’s in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated [to the presidency] by August.”

It isn’t just [the Times] — National Review’s Charlie Cooke is hearing the same thing.

“I can attest, from speaking to an array of different sources, that Donald Trump does indeed believe quite genuinely that he  — along with former senators David Perdue and Martha McSally  —  will be ‘reinstated’ to office this summer after ‘audits’ of the 2020 elections in Arizona, Georgia, and a handful of other states have been completed,” he writes.

“The scale of Trump’s delusion is quite startling. This is not merely an eccentric interpretation of the facts or an interesting foible, nor is it an irrelevant example of anguished post-presidency chatter. It is a rejection of reality, a rejection of law, and, ultimately, a rejection of the entire system of American government. There is no Reinstatement Clause within the United States Constitution. Hell, there is nothing even approximating a Reinstatement Clause within the United States Constitution.”

This is Babylon Bee crazy!

→ Good news, true Patriots. Allen West has resigned as chairman of the Republican party in Texas. The guy calling on Texas to secede from the U.S. (Was tried before, if history serves.) This is a step toward a healthy and vibrant GOP. Baby steps, people.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: Can we thank the man for what he’s done (up to January 6) and move the hell on. Kevin? Mitch? Lindsay? Ron? Vicki? We’ll take the party’s temperature at Saturday’s 2nd District caucus in Madison and the state convention June 26 in Wisconsin Dells. As for August, we’re all booked up.

What are YOU doing in August?

What to say – that hasn’t already been said? Some believe Trump won. Some don’t.

I do not personally have time to go audit every ballot from every jurisdiction. So I’ll put my faith in the judicial system. Once judges stop laughing him out of court — I’ll give more serious thought about what “reinstatement” looks like.

You’d have voted to impeach him for the trespassing in the capitol affair wouldn’t you?

Trump earned the right, after having the Presidency stolen right out from under him by the lying thieving deceiving immoral demonrats.

          Batman — I’ve read it.

There are some credible points in that report, and I am glad someone is shining light on them. (hopefully they are addressed in coming elections).

There is no doubt some fraud occured. But what Navarro fails to prove is that there was enough fraud to have made the difference for Trump.

If anything, Navarro’s report proves that the rules need tightening. This would give all voters more confidence in future election results.

Maybe the rumor is true, maybe it’s false. Either way we shall all know soon enough, won’t we? So why waste time on pointless speculation?

Mr. Blaska, for a man who just wants to “move on”, you sure do spend a lot of time and effort bashing on Trump and many of his supporters. Or maybe I’m just confused.

Either way, if you want to move on, then I suggest you do just that, and stop circling around with this “HURR HAR HUR, lookit the rubes!” stuff. It is childish, and it is the exact opposite of the “big tent” that you say you are in favor of. If you want a big tent, act like it. If you don’t want big tent, you’re well on the way.

Choose, and be man enough to stand by your choice, that’s my suggestion.

    What do you really want?

As an ex-jurinalist, Dave should’ve recognized the media echo chamber and the dishonest practice of “source journalism” He’s taken Lefty’s bait, … hook, line and sinker.

Source Journalism is where a narrative is ‘placed in a friendly media’ and then it becomes the story itself. He cites multiple sources of mushy, moderate mandarins of #FakeNews, … NYT’s, David Brooks, The Dispatch, George Will, Peggy Noonan, Jonah Goldberg and David French, et.al., … no true Conservatives are they.

Pardon me for pointing out the obvious here …but as long as Trump continues to insist (with no hard proof) that the election was stolen, more people (and not fewer) need to be a firewall to the baloney.

Difficult to find proof without a comprehensive thorough investigation.

Nathan; you write like someone who believes that Fauci is a trustworthy infallible Godlike figure and the vaccines are necessary for everyone, all age groups, and are proven perfectly safe. Spoiler alert; they are not.

Unnecessary to do my own vaccine investigation when so many learned individuals already have and continue to do so.
Long term effects unknown = unanimous and stipulated. Short term effects to be determined. It is an *experimental* genetically manipulating solution.

Vaccinating the extremely low risk youngins with an experimental solution that doesn’t provide as good of immunity as does natural exposure to a virus that is 99% survivable with probable adverse effects on fertility is extremely bad medicine/science that should make people question the motivation for said action.

Are you a Fauci fanboy Nathan?
As an aside; you know deep down that Biden did not win fair and square and remember that acceptance is the first step.

Your first mistake, is assuming I’m a democrat or a fanboy.

I’m nothing more than a numbers guy. Show me the data, and I’ll draw my own conclusions. Abraham Lincoln understood this well when he said, “If given the truth, [the people] can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts — and beer.”

At the moment, the CDC (by providing “real facts”) has convinced me that I have more to lose by remaining unvaccinated.

Batman – on the other hand – has provided zero facts….just tangential references to “learned individuals” lurking somewhere on the interwebs.

    Nathan,
Nothing will ever be proven because there will never be an honest comprehensive investigation. No judge wanted to be the match that ignited massive widespread super destructive riots.

Virtually nothing is thoroughly investigated anymore except for Trump, and major government departments remain weaponized for political advantage. As of now; the Swamp rules more powerfully than ever.

Batman — I don’t have a crystal ball, nor any special inside-access that makes me better-informed than anyone else. What do I know? I know that thousands of people have researched this, spent tens-of-millions of dollars, and filed dozens of lawsuits (in front of Dem and Repub judges).

While I am, merely a spectator/citizen — these^^ aforementioned people are better-informed, better-equipped, and have a vested interest in getting to the bottom of it. And after all this, they have not been able to prove that anything election-changing occurred.

Moving forward….what can we do better?

      1. The GOP needs to field a candidate who can win by more than a few tenths or hundredths of a percent. When an election is marginal, attorneys decide the outcome.

      2. Tighten the rules to keep the fraud out (and the attorneys sidelined).

We can go round and round. Lawsuits filed and then dismissed by pussy judges on technical grounds that are imposed as means to assuage fear and stay safe. It is a human thing, not good for the Republic, but who cares right?

Don’t you think it’s a step too far, to call the judges presiding in 80+ lawsuits, all pussies?

I mean sure, there are probably a few pussies in there. But are you calling every single one of them unfit to do their job? Surely there must be a few in there with a sack?

How can every single one of them be a pussy? Does that really seem likely?

      A technicalty?

What percentage of the judges, Batman, do you believe are pussies? Just the democrats? How about the repubs – do we include them? What about the Judges that Trump appointed, who then ruled against him? What is the correct methodolgy for determining the pussy-ratio, so that we can get to the bottom of how many legit lawsuits were thrown out by spineless magistrates?

By calling it a “technicality” – you are trying to minimize the fact that out of 86 lawsuits filed to prove election fraud….there has been only one win.

What proof do have? What do you know that has been hidden from the rest of us? Why do you cling to a belief that “certain substantial fraud” occured — when a legion of lawyers, expert witnesses, election supervisors (many card-carrying republicans), and judges — couldn’t find anything in 85 lawsuits?

If you have proof — let’s see it. Otherwise, let it go.

Not until after an investigation that is just minimally as expensive, time consuming, and partisan, as Mueller’s Russian fiasco can people understand whether or not the election was stolen, which deep down most people know that is was.

As I mentioned much earlier in this discussion – two things need to happen

          1. The GOP needs to field a candidate who can win by more than a few tenths or hundredths of a percent.
