Blaska Policy Werkes

David Blaska, going out of his way to provoke progressives in Madison WI to make America safe for democracy!

Most Capitol riot suspects not tied to far-Right groups

Only 16% facing federal charges belong to extremist organizations.

Optimist Club member?

Federal authorities have said the Proud Boys and other extremist groups played a key role in the Capitol riot, but the breach would have been impossible without the larger mob, said Robert Pape, a political-science professor and founder of the Chicago Project on Security and Threats.

“What made it overwhelming is this mass surge into the Capitol of the 90% that are not part of organized militias,” Mr. Pape said.

But Proud Boys were key organizers: 11-minute video here.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: so far, no Antifa.

  1. This is what happens when people become part of a protest that has inciters imbedded within the protest that incite a mob to do things they wouldn’t have done without going along with the “crowd”. The ones in the mob that incited riot should be prosecuted for criminal incitement. We’ve seen this kind of mob incited violence from extremist for about 10 years now.

I refuse to take part in mob mentality.

  3. The state-run media and David Blaska want you to believe that veterans are an extremest threat. Quite the opposite is true, it is U.S. veterans who continue to secure liberty for our posterity. The despotic regime must convince Americans that veterans are a threat because veterans are the only thing standing in the way of totalitarianism.

If being a constitutional loyalist is now considered extremest, then I am a proud extremest.

    1. “Blaska’s Bottom Line: so far, no Antifa.” According to Joe Biden: “Antifa is an idea, not an organization.”

John Sullivan, 26, founder of a protest group called Insurgence USA. Sullivan’s Insurgence USA, which describes itself as “the revolution,” hosted a “Kick These Fascists out of DC” protest on Jan. 6, around the same time a pro-Trump rally was slated near the National Mall.

Kick the Fascists out of DC? The revolution? Sounds like an Antifa communist to me.

I wonder what it would take for Blaska to disbelieve CNN?

If in fact he was streaming to his supporters from the Capitol, the feds will bust him as they have a record of his participation in the Capitol assault from his cell phone location.

    2. I should take your post down, happy mouse, since is a lie. No one said veterans are an extremist threat. I tolerate disagreement, not lying. You’re new here, I’ll let it go this time.

      1. With all due respect, Mr. Blaska, the article you cited in your article, included Oath Keepers as an extremest group. Oath Keepers has a requirement wherein a member must be a veteran and honor their oath. Their service and their oath to the constitution are all that unites them. Therefore, I assume that by citing an article which points at a group of veterans who are united by their oath to the U.S. Constitution as an extremest group, you were indirectly agreeing that oath keeping veterans were extremest.

I am an oath keeper, but not an Oath Keeper. Which one is an extremest?

You calling me a liar was offensive. I forgive you. Thanks for resisting your urge to censor me.

The fact that 90% of those partaking in the Jan. 6th event were not tied to extremist groups has NO bearing whatsoever on the ongoing efforts by Dems and the MSM to paint them all as card-carrying members of racist groups. In a few weeks (or less) this lie will become enshrined in the “official” narrative along with Trump’s direct and incontrovertible “incitement” of violence and mayhem, no matter what happens in the impeachment sham 2.0. Meanwhile the ranks of the “enemy within” continue to grow along with calls to silence anyone failing to genuflect to said narrative. And keep in mind Obama’s third term is less than a month old. Stay tuned …..

Right on, Gary. Lefty lies can travel around the world while The Truth is still trying to find her socks. Bottom line is that this is one helluva low-grade trial. No witnesses were called. It’s not fair, it’s completely rigged, … pretty much like the 2020 election, which Trump complained so bitterly about, … very likely to backfire, too. Lefties ought to concentrate their hate-filled minds that voters are tuning them out, bored at their re-run, and not interested in listening to selectively edited, invented and presented rounds of spin and lies.

If the “Muh Insurrktion” impeachment follies were a play, it’d close after one night. The plot is obvious. The outcome is certain. The drama contrived.

But stay tuned. Rome wasn’t destroyed in a day, either.

      Stay frosty, my friend.

    2. My best friend is a black man. He is racist. So am I. We are not racist to each other, but we understand that I am treated as a white man to unknown blacks and he is treated as a black man to unknown whites.

Who cares? We all have prejudices. Many blacks hate me that do not know me, but they don’t know my loyal friend is black. I just shrug it off. My black buddy knows I am ride or die with him and his children. That is all that matters.

I’ve had a number of black mentors throughout my time here.

We all must be constitutionalists if we want to preserve liberty for all colors and beliefs. Constitutional liberty is all that matters. We must preserve it.

Not expecting there to be. What happened on 1/6 was executed by a few radicals who do not in any way represent most Trump supporters.

Leftist anarchists did however terrorize American cities, assault & kill cops, harass citizens, and burn down federal buildings ALL SUMMER. Yet Democrats remain silent.

  8. Dave, I share your contempt for those who acted violently in the Jan. 6 riot. I also believe Trump was irresponsible and in fact stupid in that event and in fact in all he did from election day on. I do not go along with the idea that this was an impeachable matter or an insurrection in any normal sense a historian would use for that term. Whatever the intent of some of the maniacs inside the Capitol that day. Moreover, when it comes to whataboutism, it is not just that the left did it too, it is that the left did it relentlessly, all summer long, to SUPPORT from the Democratic Party, not disapproval of any sort. I believe Andrew McCarthy (of every other conservative doing mea culpas over this) has it right. The Democrats have NO interest whatsoever in the actual issue of whether Jan 6 was an insurrection or whether Trump incited it (in my view, both laughably over the top assertions about it), but instead have only one objective, sowing division with the conservative movement and keeping it tethered to Trump. In fact, Trump is finished. He finished himself by his truly stupid handling of the entire past year, but especially of the post-election period. What is most important is for conservatives not to play the Democratic game. Time to move on and find a successor or successor group that can sustain, not dismantle, the Trump coalition and guide it more effectively to unite the nation around it for the future.
