UW women and gender studies professor Sami Schalk’s latest contribution to higher education is tweeting “F!*k You” to every lawmaker cosponsoring the Senate Joint Resolution to end Gov. Tony Evers’ endless emergency declarations and statewide mask mandate.
As Empower Wisconsin first reported in August, Schalk encouraged Black Lives Matter “peaceful protesters” to protect their fellow rioters.
“If you’re going out tonight in Madison or Kenosha, please don’t videotape folks doing anything illegal…”
“(W)ear black, wear shoes you can run in bring water, masks, phone battery, snacks. If you get gassed, rinse your eyes w/ water only, we don’t know what chemical they’re using,” Schalk tweeted on the second night of the riots that destroyed large swaths of Kenosha’s business districts.

Professor Sami Schalk, describes herself on Twitter as a “Sarcastic, fat, Black disabled queer femme,”Folks got time & anger & not much else to do with it but disrupt the fuck out of this city,” she added.
In Madison, Schalk is perhaps best known as the professor who twerked onstage with rapper Lizzo in 2019. In a column for Vox, Schalk called her twerking “an act of political defiance.”
“Political defiance?” , really?, what does that even mean?
How is it, that to one segment of the population, the word “twerk” means an overt display of sexual availability, and to the rest of us “twerk” is where we go every day in an attempt to earn a living, pay taxes (and the salaries of people like her), and hopefully have enough left over for a six pack.

I’d like to stand as a Professor, making 100,000+ a year, as a College teacher teaching at the UW’s Department of Gender & Women’s studies.
Oh and I just loved the support she showed for her students when she said: “Write the name of a bail out friend at home on your leg in Sharpie. Let people know where you plan to be & how long you plan to stay out. Stick with the group. Don’t leave comrades behind. I’ll be doing support from home tonight & monitoring my people. Good luck.”

All I can say is that, with courses and “Professors” like her, here at the U.W. Madison it shows, it really shows.

Jordan Peterson has been trying for years to get folks to sit up and notice the trammeling of true/valuable education in colleges. As reasonable and intelligent and knowledgeable as he may be, SJW’s turn a deaf ear. But he’ll never stop trying, God Bless Him !
