David Blaska, going out of his way to provoke progressives in Madison WI to make America safe for democracy!

Just go away, Donald Trump

We Dare call it Treason

From the Wall Street Journal about the insurrection of 01-06-21:

[After] Wednesday’s disgrace and what to do about the 13 days left in Donald Trump’s presidential term, Democratic leaders Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are demanding that Mr. Trump be removed from office immediately — either by the Cabinet under the 25th Amendment or new articles of impeachment. There’s partisan animus at work here, but Mr. Trump’s actions on Wednesday do raise constitutional questions that aren’t casually dismissed. …

This was an assault on the constitutional process of transferring power after an election. It was also an assault on the legislature from an executive sworn to uphold the laws of the United States. This goes beyond merely refusing to concede defeat. In our view it crosses a constitutional line that Mr. Trump hasn’t previously crossed. … [It is] a far greater dereliction of duty than his ham-handed Ukrainian interventions in 2019. It is …

Panic D.C.
Trump’s incitement to riot

… impeachable.

If Mr. Trump wants to avoid a second impeachment, his best path would be to take personal responsibility and resign. … We know an act of grace by Mr. Trump isn’t likely. In any case, this week has probably finished him as a serious political figure. He has cost Republicans the House, the White House, and now the Senate. Worse, he has betrayed his loyal supporters by lying to them about the election and the ability of Congress and Mr. Pence to overturn it. He has refused to accept the basic bargain of democracy, which is to accept the result, win or lose.

Wall Street Journal’s Bottom Line: It is best for everyone, himself included, if he goes away quietly.

Are YOU the last bitter ender?

As some conservatives are tripping over themselves to stick it to Trump, the left, including their tech, media, and corporate allies, are actively working to silence independent voices. Maybe even yours.

The left is on a witch hunt. Conservatives & dissenters are being put on no-fly lists, being fired, doxed, silenced on social media, and having their livelihoods ruined for peacefully speaking out. All while leftist terrorists are allowed to riot, maim police officers, and destroy cities without consequence.

For someone that appreciates the Constitution of the US as much as you say you do, thought you’d like to know this.

So you’re saying they don’t like being held responsible for their actions? Or they are nothing but takers and really have no interest in making a sacrifice for their beliefs

And this is just the warm-up act. Wait until Jan. 20th. Speaking of which date, I hope the same folks–only many, many more of them all armed to the teeth–make what happened last Wednesday look like a Sunday school picnic. A little reminder: Hitler and the Nazis came to power by scrupulously following “the democratic process.” Wonder what would have happened if German patriots had stormed the Reichstag on the day in 1933 when Hitler was appointed Chancellor instead of shrugging their shoulders and mumbling about the democratic process.

Now that order has been restored and the Capitol is under control all the republicans are sitting around singing kumbayas, nothing to see here, nothing happened. The EFFIN president* incited insurrection, it’s has if the republican think justice only applies to POC. I remember most of the posters here ranting on forever when BLM protests rocked the nation, yet seem to accept the attempted overthrow of our government with no problem…….Yes, your all a bunch of racists, and if you still support trump fascists too.

The Gotch & GP go way back, from a distance; Warshinton [sic] County, ferchrissakes.

He gives as good as he gets…moreso, even.

Far too infrequently, and from afar, he-n-GP haven’t let petty differences poison the well, something EVERYONE ought consider.

Well if he tried to “incite insurrection”, he did a piss-poor job of it. The game plan has been out there for MONTHS. Praise everything that they do, across every platform. Make excuses for all damages. Set up bail funds for anyone willing to be violent. March with them, kneel with them, and acknowledge the virtue of their movement. Then make some REAL money. (BLM had hundreds of millions of dollars pouring in, yet it never trickled down to the local chapters, (and all those “black lives” that “matter” so much) Using this proven formula he could have kept it going for months.
I note a glaring lack of burning and looting in the incident. If I had “attempted to overthrow” Pelosi’s office, I would at least “burned ” a doobie, and “looted” enough of those Gold Impeachment Pens that she passes out, for everybody here to get one.
