Blaska Policy Werkes

David Blaska, going out of his way to provoke progressives in Madison WI to make America safe for democracy!

Christmas is postponed to January 6

When Santa huffs and puffs
and blows the whole House (and Senate) down

A conspiracy so vast …

Scratch an aging liberal and to this day, s/he’ll swear that Alger Hiss was framed — the subsequent Venona Transcripts be damned. Grassy knoll conspiracists emerge from their basements every November 22nd. The moon landing was filmed on a Hollywood sound stage. Queen Elizabeth had Princess Di whacked. 9/11 was an inside job. The Twin Towers was a controlled demolition. Something about the Jews.

It’s the wee hours of November 4, 2020, in a basement command center somewhere in Delaware. That criminal mastermind, Joe Biden, issues orders to his capos di regime:

“Send another truckload of ballots to Antrim County, STAT! … What? … It’s in Michigan, dammit! Google it! … Tell the ‘plumbers’ to goose up the algorithms in those Dominion machines in Maricopa County! … Raffensperger in Georgia wants his bribe sweetened? That dog-faced pony soldier! Hunter, put him in touch with your Ukrainian oligarch! Make him an offer! He can’t refuse!

“Kamala, did you take care of Bill Barr like I told you? Are you certain the girl has no family? That nobody knows that she worked there? … Good! It’ll be as if she never existed. All that’s left is our friendship with the attorney general.

“Here’s the deal, those election observers in Philly can see everything! They’re too damn close! Back ’em off! Come out blazing. Don’t look nobody directly in the eye —  but you don’t look away, either. Hey, they’re gonna be scared stiff of you, believe me, so don’t worry about nothin’.”

The raucous caucus

… is busing to Washington D.C. on January 6, the 12th day of Christmas and, not coincidently, the day Congress ratifies the Presidential election. Or unratifies it, depending on your politics and mental  health. The commander in chief is urging his True Believers to “be there and be square wild.” Whatever could they have in mind? At $200 a head, a bus is leaving “from Wisconsin” January 5 for D.C., a social media post advises, but it doesn’t say from where in Wisconsin! (And we wonder why Democrats outsmart us all the time!)

Woebetide the bus driver, should he take a wrong turn and miss the fun! Conclusive evidence of  treason!

Magic
 Congress hacks the ballot box

We read that electoral votes are presented to Congress on that date in mahogany boxes. A gaggle of congressmen will move to block electors from six states, presumably Wisconsin. (One would hope!) We’re guessing on the grounds that Wisconsin’s box is knotty pine, not the authentic mahogany. Failing that, Penn & Teller will saw the box in half and give half our votes to Trump.

Meanwhile, the neo-communist Nation magazine declares “Trump is guilty of sedition and must be brought to justice.” Throw them under the bus, Gus (Hall)!

‘I will survive’:

Blaska’s Bottom Line: The truth, for many of our friends and acquaintances, is that which they wish to believe. Any evidence to the contrary is proof that the conspiracy is even deeper than you could possibly believe. Yet, still they believe.

What did you get Blaska for Christmas?

We wouldn’t mind moon beams in a jar but we prefer real estate.

  2. I have to say, Dave, I’ve always appreciated your sense of humor, even when it pokes fun at thimgs deer to me. Your most recent posts have been gems!! Thanks for helping keep some perspective during these, hold for it, unprecedented times. I have friends on the left who fear another civil war and friends on the right who seem to hope for such. In my centrist, moderate space, reviled by both, I just smile as often as possible! Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

      Map,
How do your friends feel about Antifa and other violent anarchists?
Or the cancel culture, or University indoctrination centers that disallow non-conforming opinions/speakers, etc.?
Do you or they ever discuss?

Of course neither discuss such issues, right or left. It’s a whole lot like the comments section on here. Each already knows they’re right and they’re quite comfortable within that. 🙂

          mapkp,
Nearly anything goes on this (sharpelbows) blogsite although Blaska does occasionally have to summon the exterminator to douse Lesiak so why claim “Antifa and other violent anarchists, the cancel culture, or University indoctrination centers aren’t discussed” because they are quite frequently?

What has you thinking we independent thinking conservatives “revile” you in your “centrist, moderate space”? Examples would be helpful.

The cool thing about we independent thinking conservatives is that we welcome debate unlike the radical left who fears debate to such a degree they prevent conservative speakers from even lecturing on campuses throughout the country, cancel people in all walks of life for daring to express thoughts contrary to the new hive-mind, and beat the crap out of people simply for wearing a MAGA hat.

Do you and your friends have an opinion on any of this?

Uh, you asked if it was discussed among my friends, not on here. As for the comment section here, I’ve rarely observed anything I’d call a ‘discussion’. ‘Global thermonuclear war’ usually seems a more apt description. But what’s worse, there usually seems to be a whole lot of heat and not much light. I guess I’d rather see some discussion of solutions rather than the personal attacks that seem to be en vogue from both sides.

      mapkp,
The behavior of the radical Left and conspicuous lack of condemnation by dems in general especially the MSM does tend to infuriate people. Heck, you won’t even comment on Antifa for crying-out-loud or take the oh so perilous step and declare if you and your friends discuss.

Public excoriation of Antifa and the like by massive numbers of dems would go a long way towards healing and yet here you are dancing around the subject of these violent domestic terrorists. Why is that?
Solution oriented commentary is indeed difficult when the other side has a gun pointed at your head (that’s a metaphor) and since you desire more “light” let it begin with you.
      It is Christmas after all.

      $500 million to Israel
$1.3 billion to the Egyptian military
      $700 million to The Sudan
$453 to The Ukraine (Hunty Biden’s strip club/whiff tab & enrich his Burisma pals?)
      $135 million to Burma
      $85.5 million to Cambodia
$1.4 billion for “Asia Reassurance Initiative Act” (?)
      $130 million to Nepal

Just part of the WuHan Virus Relief Package spending set asides; look much like relief to LEGAL citizens of the good ol’ U. S. of A.?

That this sailed through the House is no surprise, but the Senate?

Gotch: The “temptation” line is from Oscar Wilde, rest his soul, author of The Picture of Dorian Gray, upon which the vintage movie of the same title is based, in which that line is spoken, “I can resist anything except temptation.” Interesting Mencken quote, too.

Being paraphrased-n-personalized, Oscar Wilde was not attributed.

That said, the supremely talented Herr Wilde does remain an esteemed member of The Gotch’s Triple Threat of quotables, the other two being Thomas Jefferson & Samuel Clemens.

They weren’t at staged rallies, floating around in their canoes or wandering the streets because we were on the phones, registering voters, going door to door to get the win. Kind of like what we did for Evers.

        3. “Your” is the possessive adjective of person or property; “you’re” is the contraction of “you are”.

It seems that most, if not all, of the dismissed suits were ruled on strictly procedural grounds having to do with “standing” or timing when filed by the plaintiffs. In nearly no case was the actual evidence presented, evaluated, and found incorrect or insufficient. See Peter Navarro’s privately compended overview

Nobody doubts that the Antifa/BLM craziness would break out again in even greater force if somehow Biden’s election was overturned by the courts. In Blaska’a neck of the woods, we may even see some of this in the coming days when —as expected— the trial judge refuses to convict the cop who shot Jakob Blake in Kenosha WI, following Blake’s de-facto kidnapping of his three kids (out of seven with different baby mamas); responding to his ex-wife’s 911 call over Blake’s violating several restraining orders, and Blake reaching into his car for a weapon (he had a previous firearms offense and a knife was later found under the driver’s seat). All while resisting arrest and disobeying lawful commands by the arresting officers.

Last week I was in far southern Indiana in a county which went 65-35 for Trump, and evidently most of his local supporters haven’ taken down their lawn signs yet (and may well not ever!). On the way out, my host showed me the five new bullet holes in his Trump-Pence sign that he hadn’t before noticed.

Justice Amy Coney Barrett has seven children (including two adoptees), ranging in age from five to fifteen. Considering the vile threats to them she described in detail during her confirmation hearings when she hadn’t taken her seat on the Court yet, does anybody imagine there wouldn’t heightened risks to their safety if SCOTUS accepted the Texas suit for injunctive relief. Would she have joined Thomas and Alito if political terrorism was not a large fact of life now in our country?

Dave, Since you dropped a hint about wanting some real estate for Christmas, here’s my suggestion: Occupy one of the many abandoned storefronts on State Street, available courtesy of BLM and the feckless fools in charge of Madison. If they try to evict you, take a cue from Portland and, declare a cop-free zone.

I thought our leaders had our backs, but not only did they NOT have our backs, …
they displayed their contempt for us regular, normal Americans by stabbing us there.

The only networks that aired the president’s 13 minute speech that detailed the massive fraud were OANN and Newsmax. Most American’s don’t even know the extent of the election fraud because of the Ms. Media blackout.

You got to wonder why there’s so little fight in our elected officials over what is clearly a fraudulent election. Any sane leader would assess the mountain of evidence of election tampering before proclaiming that the election Is over. Any sane leader would be greatly disturbed by the irregularities and at least allow President Trump and his legal team make their case. Instead, our so-called leaders are closing their eyes and sticking their fingers in their ears.

Just to add insult to injury, it’s likely the same scenario of unsolicited, phony mail-in ballots and other shenanigans will plague Georgia’s special election for Senate control. I suppose that after the two Democrats claim victory there, the same Republican turncoats will remain true to form and declare the election “unfortunate” but fair. The inaction and laissez-faire attitude by this sorry cabal will result in us having to suffer through years of idiocy and incompetence. The torture of having to listen to Biden stumble his way through a two-minute speech pales in comparison to what that two-minute speech will most likely convey. The sheer agony of having to witness America’s brick-by-brick dismantling over a soundtrack of woke lecturing will be the fault of the many pawns who were elected to protect and defend our Constitution.

Eighty-four million (and likely more) of us are watching the destruction of America in real time. There’s a good chance we will look back on the weeks between the election and the inauguration of an illegitimate leader as the period that commenced the march toward socialism, tyranny and totalitarianism. Unfortunately, it’s a parade led by some of our friends on our own side. (H/T: AT)

So, you’re confused on why so many people (and judges) are refusing to give your conspiracy theory play? It could be that you’re right. That there is a conjunction of a huge and brilliant left wing plot aided by weak kneed republicans that clearly see the conspiracy, yet do nothing about it. That is confusing.
Of course, there is another potential explanation that would explain it all. Maybe you should take a deep breath and consider the possibility that you are wrong.

GKChesterton knew about this and referred to “Hudge and Gudge” as the two “different” parties back in the day in England. They weren’t different at all—any more than the UniParty is in D.C.

Trump comes along and threw a few hand grenades into the vintage wine-cellars and walk-in humidors maintained for The Club.

Reduced to quick-easy: Trump SOLVES problems that Hudge and Gudge have been “unable” to solve for lo, these 100 years. How the Hell can they collect campaign funds and rather nice insider-trade tips if problems are SOLVED? The last thing they need is someone who gets things done……the racketeering stops, the contributions, corruption, (and tribute) stops……how WILL they feed their CHILDREN????

They want Trump like they want V.D. THAT’S why the Pubbies–even in Wisconsin–are sitting back and watching, bemused.
