Last night 10-21-20, Fox News reported that the laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden was subpoenaed last year by the FBI in a money laundering investigation. While the status and the targets of the investigations are unknown, the subpoena would appear to support the fact that these emails are authentic and that the laptop was Biden’s. While House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff and roughly 50 “intelligence experts” have assured the public that this is just Russian disinformation, both the FBI and the Director of National Intelligence have now confirmed that they do not believe the laptop and its contents are Russian disinformation.
Now it appears that the laptop was viewed as sufficiently connected to possible federal crimes to be subpoenaed as evidence by the FBI a year ago. These disclosures continue to make a mockery of the effective news blackout imposed by virtually every major news organization on the story. Notably, for years the media and legal experts have cited the fact of a secret FISA surveillance order as proof that the Russian investigation was legitimate even though allegations of collusion between the Russians and the Trump campaign were discredited.

When the dust all settles, I think that the greatest accomplishment of the Trump Administration will
be how he has almost single-handedly exposed the corruption of American mainstream corporate media, even for the average low-information TV viewer. That, and for traditionally more high-information folks, exposing cynical dishonestly of the majority of the “Progressive” or “Liberal” press/activists. In terms of the latter, one of the very few exceptions I currently know of (and I’m definitely not an expert on any of this) is Jimmy Dore.

It can’t be for their ethics. While media activists are tripping over themselves to figure out how they can conflate & manipulate Trump’s every word & move, they’re ignoring the good he’s doing for the country.
I mean, how dastardly do you have to be to not report on Trump’s initiatives to combat human trafficking? How self-serving do you have to be not point out the fact that this president has NOT let us into any new wars & brokered major peace deals or that’s he’s created major prison reform?

A big one you forgot was his 2019 heath care transparency rule, which was issued by executive order. But not surprising you forgot it, since our corporate media, along with our TDS-addled “progressive” media, buried that one down the memory hole in record time!

PS: Just to be clear, I’m not convinced that Trump’s approval of “legislation enhancing US Leadership in Indo Pacific region” is good. IMO more US military adventurism which could cost everyone (except for the arms dealers) dearly.

Easy mistake to make; both were taken out by President Trump, and both forced craven Enemy Of The People Lefty’s hand to extol America’s enemies in order to deny The Donald any type of victory.

Yes, the SC thing is huge. The only thing left to do at this point is for the anti-constitutionalists to move on to packing the court. Or at least for the short term.
For years, I have wondered how much longer we are going to survive as a free country. So far, our constitutional republic (or however you want to define it,) based upon the rule of law, is holding on by the absolute skin of its teeth. WAY too many 5-4 decisions in this area.

Let’s not kid ourselves. The FEEBS had that computer for 12 months or so–just like they’ve had Hillary’s emails for 3+ years (via ‘dick-pic’s laptop.) Their objective CANNOT be ‘prosecuting crimes.’ They have another agenda, following the lead of J E Hoover: blackmail the President (or those who hope to be President) with the contents, when the time comes.
See, we’re not “in on the joke” out here. So we’re stupid enough to expect someone to do the Right Thing, aside from Trump. Ain’t gonna happen.
