It is believed that the occupants of the vehicles were shooting at each other. There were multiple shell casings located on scene. Approximately 250 yards away a 9 year old was playing outside and a bullet ricochet off the sidewalk hitting the 9 year old in the shin. Blaska’s Bottom LineA real mayor, a real city council would hold a special session to declare War on Crime, not War on Cops.

Duck and cover — or sign and recall?

“Approximately 250 yards away a 9 year old was playing outside and a bullet ricochet off the sidewalk hitting the 9 year old in the shin.” (bold mine)

NBC15 reports the 9 year-old getting hit in the Chin.

    Too damn close for comfort!

People need to keep these stories in front of them when they go to vote, and when they don’t want to take a few minutes to be “inconvenienced” by signing a Recall Satya petition.

Why did the MPD stop reporting that “There’s no threat to the public” in their PSA out to the Rube’s of Madistan? Did comrade Soyta have her hand in squashing any reports that they are in effect, threats to the public? Aren’t bullit holes in your bed room walls uncommon os should we expect this as the “New Norm”?

  2. Liberty says:

It should be clear to most people by now that public safety is not a priority for this mayor or for most leftist leaders. They willingly tolerate lawlessness and will bend over backwards to defend criminals before they shed a tear for the rest of us.

Well we sure are working hard on being a world class city right here in Madison by following the lead of other world class cities like Chicago who has recorded a total of 451 murders so far this year with a total of 5 murders overnight to start the month of August off with a bang.

Perhaps we could end our slow train to Hell by greasing the rails and doing what the marxist black lives matter people want by defunding the Police. That way we can throw caution to the wind and go screaming into the night and become the inevitable S______ hole that Chicago is now.

Got a ways to go to catch up to Chicago but leave it to our intrepid Mayor and our commie city council we’ll get there soon enough!

When I still lived there, and I wanted to go target shooting, I go to the range. Things have really changed up there in Madistan.

Madison Is a shithole. The residents are the proverbial frog in the boiling water.

I haven’t decided if I’m signing the recall. There’s lots of people in Madison know could use more reaping after what they’ve sown.

Only when this type of violence starts seeping into neighborhoods like University Heights, Shorewood, and the near WestSide, will you see any action by the liberal elites who run this town.

    • Liberty says:

The actual victims are not even on the left’s radar.

      • Batman says:

When it comes to victimology Liberty, it all depends upon melanin content. Madison proglibocrats worship at the alter of identity politics; Satya and the common council push it when ever possible.

        • Liberty says:

          Batman, true.

The tragedy is that for all their talk about race, the left’s policies often don’t seem
to be designed to promote the actual betterment of black people. An example close to home is the Madison school district’s behavior plan, which does little to encourage a peaceful school environment.

How can black people (or anyone) succeed if they’re forced to study in a chaotic environment?

This is a point that should be obvious, yet the left is either unwilling or unable to grasp it.

“Portland Parkway?” What’s the cross street? CHAZ/CHOP Avenue?

  11. jimydandy says:

“white sedan and a dark colored sedan”. Sounds rassisct to me. Call me a social worker, not a Uber.

    • patrickmoloughlin says:

Haven’t we had enough beat downs by social workers this year? Just because they aren’t armed, it doesn’t mean the’re harmless. Just ask Tim Carpenter.
