It’s a formula
Here’s why the Black Lives Matter episode in Lake Mills WI last Friday 07-03-2020 is so paradigmatic. (“BLM agitators turn minor fender bender into racist hate crime.”)
To recap, a woman named Ebony Anderson-Carter led about 40 BLM protestors to camp (without permit) in the park on the village square as one stop in a week-long trek to the Capitol in Madison. She illegally parks her vehicle on the perimeter of the park by backing into an angle parking space, which would require exiting the parking space against traffic. Which she did, colliding with a driver exercising the right of way.
Although small in scale, like Lake Mills itself, the incident shares key similarities with the BLM “protests” in Madison WI, Seattle, and elsewhere.
1. Paranoia: Ebony Anderson-Carter alleges the motorist hit her on purpose!
2. Joe McCarthy-level demagoguery: Calling that motorist “racist.”
3. Pure, naked racism: Because the motorist was white.
4. Refusing to take responsibility: Even though (police cam video of the accident) proved Anderson-Carter was in the wrong.
5. Local officials kowtow: Despite two traffic violations, Anderson-Carter is not ticketed.
6. Playing the victim: “She said she needed medical assistance said an officer drew a gun.”
7. Lying: Neither allegation was true. “Just about everything she said was a lie and it was made to incite people,” the Lake Mills police chief told the local news outlet.
8. Physical intimidation: According to the Lake Mills Leader: The organizer whose car was damaged posted pictures of the woman and her license plate on her Facebook page. The woman whose car was hit is heard telling officers she felt intimidated when her car was surrounded by protestors who were taking videos and photos of the interaction.
9. Doxxing: “There are people searching to find [the innocent driver] online.” Police Chief Mick Selck reports.
10. Vigilantism: “It’s implied they are going to do something to her.”
11. Stoking racial resentment: Even in Lake Mills, gullible guilties chose to believe the worst of their neighbors. Somehow, they manage to get elected to local office, as did Rachael Marie Davies to the local school board. (A screen shot of her social media post is reproduced below.)
“We have people in the community who have bought into the narrative,” Chief Selck said. “This has blown up the Lake Mills Community Network and the Racial Justice Facebook page.”
12. Indiscriminate use of the F-bomb. (As evidenced by the social media post of the Lake Mills school board’s vice president, shown above.)
Blaska’s Bottom Line: The only elements missing from this toxic stew are significant property damage and physical injury, although one “We Back the Badge” yard sign was taken.

I noticed in a previous story, that Ebony Anderson-Carter is identified as being from Chicago. So I’m wondering why she doesn’t try this crap with some Chicago cops? Why doesn’t she ever block traffic on the South side of Chiraq?

I don’t think the Chicago cops would find her game amusing. Particular in the Western suburbs/DuPage county.
They would have the good sense to arrest her.

Soft? It PAYS these obese Chicagoans to become victims, riot, burn and destroy our history. Freedom Inc. has a $1,000,000 operating budget. See also Urban Triage, and the recent bailing out the worst of these malefactor, FIB’s and now second generation FIB’s that migrate to Madison, despite its suddenly being populated by White Supremacists.
What you subsidize you get more of and Madison is all too happy to pay these vandals to come and cash in on liberal guilt.

Note that only “conservatives” trash McCarthy. Lefties don’t; they know McCarthy was dead-nuts accurate in his charges.
Thus the question: what do “conservatives” have against anti-Communists? Put another way, why do “conservatives” LIKE Communists?

Communism is indeed awful and is one of the worst things that can happen to this country. But that doesn’t excuse McCarthy’s methods. He trampled on first amendment rights and engaged in witch hunting. That doesn’t belong in this country either.

Well, he was a bit nasty, and J Edgar encouraged him. Adam Schiff is using his methodology, by the way. As to “witch hunts”—he was using FBI files which were puts and globs of rumor. Gee. THAT sounds familiar, too. Finally: he shoulda looked outside the State Department. There were plenty of Communists everywhere else in Washington, and their ideological children remain there to this day.

One more thing: the Left is perfectly happy to use Tailgunner Joe’s methodology to kill off the Right. I don’t see the Clean Skirts Republicans willing to start smacking people around for their offenses (see, e.g., all of Dane County and particularly Lake Mills for current examples.)

She is just doing what she’s been programmed to do. The real story is that she wasn’t ticketed or worse by the local police. That is always the bigger story throughout much of the country and that is where the focus should be. Citizens need to begin holding their enforcement officials accountable or demand they resign especially since tax revenue pays their salary.

Batman is correct, her actions were not cold and calculated, they were instinctive reactions without a second thought. In the absence of RACISM – simply create it !!! As soon as she regurgitated her poison onto social media, she had an ARMY of THOUSANDS who totally accepted her version of “truth”. Any dash cam videos, witness statements, or traffic citations, are nothing more than RACISM. The cop is just looking at a traffic accident. By just writing it up as a no-fault insurance coin-flip the trouble moves on. The danger for organized violence descending on the town and harm to the doxxed victim were too great. Would YOU want to be the cop who turned Lake Mills into STATE STREET? They caved to the insanity – DEFINITELY !! They made a prudent decision – (for them) PROBABLY. One woman takes a hit to her premiums, and hopefully can return to her life. We all must CHOOSE our battles, but we must also be ready to FIGHT them when they occur !!!

Just because she wasn’t cited then and there doesn’t mean she wasn’t mailed a ticket. Maybe the police not giving her a ticket at the time was on purpose to avoid further confrontation.

Gosh Wayne; you almost make it sound like this woman and her comrades perceive them selves as above the law, just daring someone to enforce it upon them so they can wreak a little havoc thereby teaching the next officer to look the other way or else.

Wayne, while I can certainly understand wanting to wait until the crowd dissipates before ticketing / arresting, cops, including in Madison were actually told not to make arrests during the riots. When we see law enforcement standing down across the country, the rest of us lose faith in their ability to enforce the law and keep us safe.

This incident is most certainly a paradigm and it’s not just a Madison issue. This stuff is spreading, whether you want to hear this or not. One big problem is that we have too many gutless leaders. Maybe more in the silent majority would be inclined to speak up if leaders, politicians, and YES, law enforcement officials would grow a spine and do the right thing. Their silence and unwillingness to hold this behavior accountable only emboldens and promotes more of it. The longer they keep sitting down and patronizing, the longer we will all be held hostage.

Want to add that there are some in law enforcement who sympathize with this. They take a knee not out of surrender or cowardice, but because they actually believe the lies.

And that’s the scariest thing of all. What possessed the police union in Madison to endorse that socialist cow currently in the mayor’s office? If they can’t see through the lies of the radical left, what hope is there for the rest of us?

They probably thought they were scoring points by endorsing her and that she’d have mercy on them. How did that work out? I also think there are some very far, far left progressives at the MPD. Definitely not in the minority but they are there.

The collection of scoundrels that acted out their scripted temper tantrum in Lake Mills wasn’t by accident. They wanted a scene and they didn’t get one. They lost! Pure and simple!
Sometimes the wiser person avoids a pissing match with a skunk.

Scripted or not, there is only one way to deal with terrorists and that is with force. You squish them. Appeasement emboldens them to continue and puts locals at risk of retaliation and has them afraid within their own environs. These thugs are a plague moving across the country because of people like you Roy who are afraid of things getting mean and dirty in the process of crushing these anarchist assholes. It is a culture WAR Roy, only one side hasn’t quite figured it out yet. These terrorists will not stop until they are unequivocally stopped by what ever means necessary!
Trump understood that about ISIS and crushed them, thereby regaining the territory ISIS took while armed forces stood by via orders from above and allowed it. Sound familiar?

Batman is right again on every point. I also think the term “scoundrels” to describe them is way too kind. Look at how they operate. Everything on Blaska’s list is correct. These are not just “scoundrels.” These are domestic terrorists and those in leadership positions have abandoned us.

This appears to be a standard practice for BLM. Always appear to be the victim and it worked. The Cops didn’t ticket her and she walked away clean. Whomever this school board member is wow what an embarrassment she is. Elections have consequences and you voted in a doozy there.

It did not work. The police pushed back back with releasing video that proved she fabricated everything. She looks like the fool that she is. She did not walk away clean. The crash was her fault. The entire thing was captured on video. Whether a ticket was written or not, the report will clearly show she was at fault.

How many people even know about this and will the [ profanity deleted by management ] be singed even a little bit to discourage her from acting out similarly in the future?
In this case it will be the follow up that determines if Lake Mills is willing to confront the mob but at least they will be prepared if the answer is yes.

I have written a letter to the Lake Mills School Board asking that she resign. She should not even be allowed on school property with anger and vocabulary problems like that. Will Lake Mills stand up and toss her out or will they cower?
