Trashed downtown businesses ‘had it coming.’

Where does Freedom Inc. get the money for paid social justice agitators like M. Adams and Bianca Gomez to shut down west-bound traffic on the busy Beltline between John Nolen Drive and Stoughton Road, as it is doing this very Tuesday afternoon (06-02-2020) in Madison WI? 

 

From Gov. Tony Evers and Attorney General Josh Kaul, both Democrats. Dan Bice of the Milw Journal Sentinel reports that Kaul’s Justice Department has awarded Freedom inc. $876,674 in grants since January 2019, when Kaul took office. Evers’ cabinet-level Department of Children and Families has paid out $732,403 to Freedom Inc. over the past 1½ years. Taxpayer money.

M. Adams is being paid $104,230 a year. Not bad for a Marxist.

The Werkes has already reported that Madison Metropolitan School District pays Brandi Grayson’s Urban Triage $45,665 to organize Black Lives Matter chapters in the public schools.

Blaming the police for the riots

Only in the topsy turvy world of Leftist agitprop would trashing the Veterans Museum on the Capitol Square make any sense. Madison’s left wing professes to be offended that the police are resisting the looters:

Many people in Madison were rightfully horrified by the sight of highly militarized police forces marching down familiar streets throughout the past few days as protesters resisted and evaded their advances.…

True, many of the businesses on State Street are owned by well-liked and respected members of our community, people who would tell you that of course black lives matter. Simultaneously, some of these businesses and Downtown Madison, Inc. the member organization to which they belong spent much of last summer lobbying for more and more policing downtown.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: When will Gov. Evers, County Executive Parisi, Madison’s legislative delegation, school board members Ananda Mirilli and Ali Muldrow, Comrade John Nichols, Zach Brandon at the Chamber of Commerce, The Capital Times et al. — all progressive Democrats — say Sell Crazy Somewhere Else!?
