Hooray for Trump’s retribution
and if you don’t mind, America will take a victory lap
If Pope Francis can ordain married priests in the Amazon perhaps he could make Kayla Mueller a saint, whether or not she was Catholic. The hideous torture, degradation, and terror this young woman endured at the hands of those ISIS freaks — all the while affirming her Christian faith — is worthy of veneration.
Captured while providing humanitarian aid in that hell hole part of the world, her courage in the face of despair is an inspiration. She was told no one cared to ransom her during her 18-month captivity. This is a must-read:

That top leader is now hamburger helper, despite the hideous Washington Post headline characterizing this monster as “an austere religious scholar.” Folks, those headlines are more Freudian than happenstance.
Kayla’s cause for sainthood will be denigrated by America’s relativists, who will subtract points because her grieving parents damned Barack Obama’s cowardice at the time and praise Donald Trump’s resolve today. That’s on Fox News, which reports what the faux news media will not. Instead, here is the top line on CNN.com as this is written (14:28 on 10-28-19): “Trump booed at baseball game.”
Even in the summer of 2016, while Barack Obama was still President, ABC News reported that: “Towards the end of Mueller’s life, after her parents Carl and Marsha Mueller say the FBI and Obama administration had blocked opportunities to help them ransom their daughter, her spirit had apparently dimmed.”

Aaron Rodgers is crazy good. He’s being sacked. He’s seemingly throwing the football from a 45-degree angle out of bounds to avoid loss of yards. Then there is that Nationals baseball fan who took a home run to the chest rather than drop the two brewskis he was holding. That is called manning up. (See it here) Reminds the Old Squire of the game at old Milwaukee County Stadium when they still sold big buckets of beer (minus the strap). Foul ball came our way. Held the bucket out to catch the ball, its impact cushioned by Miller’s Genuine Draft, which showered owner and seat mates alike.
Bottom of the Ninth: It is a shame that in five World Series games so far the home fans went home disappointed.
