Marlon Anderson: ‘A great human being’

Comment of the week from blogge reader John van Owen:

Marlon Anderson is a GREAT HUMAN BEING.

Marlon AndersonThere is a reason why the East High Class of 2015 chose Marlon, and no other staff member, to deliver their commencement speech. Marlon respects everyone: white, black, brown, yellow, rich, poor, honors student, struggling 5 credit senior. It doesn’t matter to him, he simply respects everyone.

Neither the West High Principal nor anyone in the administration had a clue who Marlon truly was or what he meant to these students….but they do now. This guy EXUDES LOVE.

When I told my long-since graduated child about this, he had so many great stories about Marlon’s work at East, and he finished by saying Marlon exudes love. I do wonder, since they are so quick to kick any staff person who uses the N-word to the curb, why not so the same with the students?

Oh yeah, there wouldn’t be many students of color left in the MMSD. This IS society’s fault, not Marlon’s. This guy works tirelessly to make all students better people and for that, he gets screwed.

What do YOU think?

This prime example of idiocy from the MMSD has gone viral. They were talking about it on SPORTS talk radio. Cher has now offered to pay his legal fees. She’s a wack job lefty, but even SHE can see how ludicrous this policy is. But not even the humiliation of universal condemnation shall make them see the absurdity that fires the adult for correcting, and lets the student instigator walk. It was the same thing when the white female teacher was forced to resign.

A good, sane, place to start is to recognize that “nigger” is only a word, nothing more.

SJW troll right there. Not cool.

Sorry, Larceny, words convey meaning. The N-word is a term of disrespect. That a Madison high school student would show disrespect to a staff member is a legacy of 40 years of liberal domination of school politics, personified by Jennifer Cheatham.

“That a Madison high school student COULD show (with immune impunity) disrespect to a staff member is a legacy of 40 years of liberal domination of school politics, personified by Jennifer Cheatham.” (bold mine)

Never underestimate how difficult it is for self-righteous Madison liberals to utter the simple words, “I was wrong.”
