Dear black voters, Kamala Harris prosecuted the parents of truant school kids in San Francisco. She brags about it. If she is elected president and implements this program and more black parents in Madison are prosecuted than white parents….. who will the Capitol Times say is racist?

What Gary said. If someone thinks crimes like grand theft auto, assault, and attempted murder are not worthy of, at the least, a mention, then I would find it difficult to have an honest discussion with that person.
While justice must be tempered with empathy, excusing bad behavior or refusing to discuss it, is not helpful to anyone, including offenders. Enabling offenders, via acts like victimization messaging and refusing to prosecute repeat offenders – especially when it’s done to appease voters – is disingenuous at best.
I want to have honest conversations, and I don’t think any of the Democratic contenders (from what I’ve seen) are at this point in time, capable of that.

OK, I’ll explain it to you. I WOULD be all for it because I’m not racist and would like all the kids to graduate. YOU wouldn’t and MMSD couldn’t because they demand to see failure through a “racial equity lens (which is stone racist). Plus it would ensure a low black turn out if Kamala is the candidate.

Excuse the pedantry, but it was Dr. Samuel Johnson, 18th century British lexicographer, critic and writer (and ardent royalist in his political views) who first said that patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. He also said, during the American revolution, that the loudest yelps for freedom came from “the drivers of slaves.” Lillian Hellman was indeed a Commie scoundrel, but she didn’t coin any phrases nearly as memorable as Johnson’s.

Those are not stances which are shared by ANY racial group in this country.

It never included abortion on demand,or queer/pervert marriage. But it DID include such things as patriotism, and law & order which obviously does not burden Baltimore, Madistan, Chicago, or Milwaukee–all Democrat strongholds.
