Madison’s racial equity boss can’t run for mayor ‘do’ to ‘Some white supremacy BS’

The czarina of Madison race relations can’t count and can’t spell;

Now she can’t run for Mayor of (obviously) racist Madison

From today’s Wisconsin State Journal:

Pettaway

Madison mayoral candidate Toriana Pettaway is describing as “some White Supremacy BS” a decision from the city clerk’s office that she fell two signatures short on her nominating petitions and is therefore not eligible to appear on the ballot.

In an email Wednesday night to Pettaway’s campaign, certified municipal clerk Eric Christianson said she collected 198 of the 200 valid signatures she needed.

“I am being told I can’t run for Mayor,” Pettaway, the city’s racial equity coordinator, said in a Thursday email to the clerk’s office and local media.

“Do to being Short two signatures on the Nomination Sheets. I am reviewing them now. Always some White Supremacy BS.”

This is who determines who is a racist and who is not in the People’s Republic of Madison where Identity Politics rules.

Break school-to-prison pipeline by keeping cops in schools and teaching reading!

Letter to the WI State Journal:

I attended a Madison City Council police oversight committee meeting and was surprised that I was one of only a handful of citizens in attendance. The others in attendance were the usual people who are quoted in the local media, and who evidently have great influence over members of the City Council.

Was the poor attendance because of the location or the time of the meetings? Are Madison residents apathetic about police issues? Or is it because the majority of residents (black, white, brown and members of the LGBT community) think the Madison Police Department is run well and well-staffed? Are they generally very supportive of a fine police department?

A small vocal group of people want the police out of our schools claiming that officers are the pipeline from school to prison for many students of color. Perhaps the real pipeline is that the Madison School District is unable to teach too many students of color basic reading skills. Blaming the police for all our shortcomings, including those of the Madison School District, is easy.

It is also naive, inappropriate and most importantly diverts attention from addressing some of our real problems.

    Any candidate for public office who doesn’t collect and submit extra signatures as a cushion against challenged signatures has no business running for office. This is basic.

      @AnonyBob;

      Jeepers, the talented Ms. Pettaway DID have a cushion…of 18 signatures.

      One wasn’t dated and the other 17 weren’t City of Madison residents.

      Poor Diversity Czarina, sad Diversity Czarina, monumentally ButtHurt Diversity Czarina.

      She’s gotten a rude awakening to how the real world works, a world alien to youse, Li’l Jeffy, et al, which is the kind of world that, for better or for worse, treats everyone the same…as in the SAME standard for everyone: AKA Equal Rights.

      But the poor widdle Diversity Czarina is too much of a blithering addlepate to take any of that into account, or to accept any of the personal responsibility such a moron.

      She HAD to know that standard going in, if she didn’t, she’s too freaking stupid to even be a write-in. Soooo much easier to blame it on some White Supremacy BS, am I right?

      Her department head will be getting at least one letter DEMANDING that she be summarily fired for cause.

        Eighteen extra signatures, that’s only 9% over the 200 needed; what the heck was she thinking? She’s incompetent for not having over 25% in extra qualified signatures.

        Theory: Maybe she didn’t have enough support in Madison and she had to knowingly commit fraud and go outside Madison to obtain what she ignorantly thought was going to be “enough” additional signatures.

        Any way I look at it, she’s appears to be incompetent.

          @Zoltar Speaks!;

          If she had sufficient synaptic connectivity, which I seriously doubt, she’d have claimed SEXIST White Supremacy BS as the culprit.

          Why? Because Y-Chromosomal Unit Mo Cheeks, who is reportedly Black, wasn’t as effin’ stupid, I mean, was able to secure the statutorily required number of signatures, despite being held back by, welp, youse get the picture.

          Pettaway should be held accountable for submitting fraudulent signatures, as was Charisse Daniels.

          Then, like Daniels, she could submit a phony half-fast apology and all-but-admit she’s, as youse so eloquently put it, incompetent.

          And if Karma holds serve, she’ll also be publicly booted from her position, for cause, because she’s a bigoted, prejudicial, excuse-making POS!

    Reminds me of a recent case of media-manufactured outrage involving a black kid whose hair exceeded the stipulated length for participation in a wrestling match. Instead of just kicking him out of the contest, a ref gave him the opportunity to CONFORM TO THE RULES and have his hair cut on the spot (he later won his match). Guess who was vilified for his obvious act of racism. “Some white supremacy BS” = “Minorities in Madison get to disregard the rules.” Whoever caught and reported the error in Torina’s campaign petition should be given the Employee of the Month Award.

    This is highfreakin’larious, and certainly no isolated incident; o paraphrase one monumentally imbecilic parent:

    “No matter how, whatever stipulations you put on a teacher going into a school, they’re doing to do whatever they want to do and what MTI trains them to do…which is make black kids fail to be able to count or spell.”

      Think about it; local Guilt-Suffocated White Lefties contorting themselves with ears a’steamin’ while they feebly try to reconcile the same oppressive White Supremacy BS that inexplicably gave Mo Cheeks a pass.

      Pettaway could pitch it as: Not Getting The Required Signatures Because I Was Running For Mayor While Black.

  11. Public Disclaimer #1: I’m writing the fictional comment below as a theoretical rhetorical comparison to reality, if you take the content of the fictional comment as me being serious then you’re a damn idiot or a partisan hack in search of something to attack.

    Here’s the reality section:
    Shadayra Kilfoy-Flores actually wrote this comment on social media, “I think someone who cares about David Balaska, I’m sure there are a ton, should ask him not to “put his life on the line” by running for school board. Maybe his hero, Paula Fitzgerald, will convince him that his life is not worth putting in jeopardy.” without any explanation within the comment itself as to why she wrote it and the political left literally rationalizes it because she made well after-the-fact excuses for her words because her words were taken literally – that’s what you do when there appears to be a threat of physical violence and there’s no other explanation given up front for the threatening intimidation rhetoric.

    Now for the theoretical rhetorical comparison:
    Can you imagine the terrible outcries, protests in the streets, and viral social media posts from the throngs of social justice warriors, anti-conservative bigots and anti-white racists in the political lefts ranks if a conservative white person posted something like this fictional comment on social media, “I think someone who cares about Toriana Pettaway, I’m sure there are a ton, should ask her not to “put her life on the line” by running for Mayor. Maybe her hero, Barack Obama, will convince her that her life is not worth putting in jeopardy.” without providing any explanation within the comment itself as to why it was written?

    Public Disclaimer #2: I wrote the fictional comment above as a theoretical rhetorical comparison to reality, if you take the literal content of the fictional comment as me being serious then you’re a damn idiot or a partisan hack in search of something to attack.

    Theoretical rhetorical comparison conclusion:
    The social justice warriors, anti-conservative bigots and anti-white racists in the ranks of the political left have sown us time and time again that they will take any statement that they can twist into being threatening, racists, misogynist, anti LGBTQ+, generic hate speech, etc, etc and they will take that statement to the court of public opinion via public protests and make it viral on social media and literally try to destroy the life of the person who uttered/wrote the statement regardless of truth. Now we see that these same social justice warriors, anti-conservative bigots and anti-white racists in the ranks of the political left are proving to be blatantly unethical totalitarian HYPOCRITES are doing nothing but trying to control the speech of those they oppose and justify anything and everything written or spoken by the social justice warriors, anti-conservative bigots and anti-white racists in the ranks of the political left. These people are the same kind of enemies of the people that have infected the political lefts media propaganda outlets and if you don’t think they are a problem for our society then you are part of the problem.

    Stand up, speak out, and stop the social INJUSTICE that the modern day social justice warrior cult has imposed upon society! These people are not only your rhetorical enemy, they are trying to fundamentally change the structure of our society and twist it into their intimidation controlled totalitarian social justice “utopia”. These people are not “woke”, they’re blithering idiots ranting complete nonsense as if it’s fact and they’re literally an enemy of the United States Constitution and enemies of the people!

    Remember these prophetic words:

    First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Socialist.
    Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Trade Unionist.
    Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.
    Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.
    Martin Niemöller

    You are next unless you stand up, speak out, and stop the blithering idiotic social justice warrior cult.

      Since the launch of the Trump candidacy, the left has exhibited it’s acceptance of violence to achieve it’s goals. Remember when a protester getting punched at a Trump rally was a sign that the fourth Reich was on the march, while mobs attacking attendees was framed as violence created by rally? The purpose of this framing is to legitimize the use of violence by the left and inhibit a response in kind by the right.

      The left has internalized that notion that opposition to their ideals is equivalent to violence. Therefore any opposition may legitimately be responded to with threat of violence and, if that doesn’t work, actual violence. This is not a world view you can negotiate or compromise with. Why would anyone negotiate or compromise with what they see as evil?

      Fortunately we are seeing a decline in the fortunes of the controlled opposition right. Hopefully we will see new leadership on the right that is willing to give better than they get.
