Another stolen-car crash; Madison’s slaps on the wrist will get someone killed some day

Why Blaska has been fighting for Cops in our Schools
and accountability in our courts

From Madison.com: Two teens who are part of a crew known for stealing cars in the Madison area were injured early Sunday morning (12-16-18) when the stolen Jeep they were in crashed into a tree.

The crash happened at about 5 a.m. Sunday in the 2600 block of Coolidge St., Madison police said. Other teens were in the Jeep as well, but they ran from the scene before police arrived. These two teens were injured in a crash a month ago on Dunns Marsh Terrace, when the stolen SUV they were in hit a house under construction.

Police are looking for three teens in an SUV they stole ran a red light while speeding and crashed  into a vehicle at the corner of S. Gammon Rd. and Mineral Point Rd. on September 25.

Police Chief Mike Koval writes:

MPD is investigating a series of armed robberies, carjackings and a home invasion that occurred in our City between November 20th and December 15th.

There are 14 cases being evaluated based on their similarities.  … In general, we have identified a pattern involving a group of young African American males who are armed and masked when they approach drivers, pedestrians and/or gas station employees.

Suspects have approached drivers in parking lots of daycares and apartment complexes. We are investigating four cases where suspects called for and then robbed cab drivers; and in one case stole the cab from the scene.

On December 6, three gas stations experienced armed robberies within one-hour. Finally, on December 15, an armed home invasion occurred in the South District with similar characteristics to other cases.  Suspects in these incidents are armed and demand cash and valuables from the victims. Most concerning, is that in multiple cases, victims have been battered by the suspect(s). …

While it is not all-together foreign for robberies to increase at this time of the year, the fact that guns and physical assaults are prominent means that there is an increased sense of urgency to make arrests and for us to hold people accountable for these crimes. Anyone having tips or leads that may prove helpful are always encouraged to contact CrimeStoppers at: https://www.p3tips.com/index.htm. Victory! Time to apply restorative justice— a week in the public stocks before the application of the Death Penalty. Ooops, Meant to suggest all perps should be sentenced to spend the next 6 months as wards of individual MSD school and union administrators. The District Administrator has volunteered to take the first two errant :”youngsters.” Surely, the top administrator, architect of a disciplinary policy for the “rest of us” knows how to succeed at reformation.

Yes, someone will get killed–let’s hope it’s the right someone.

  3. Where are the parents in this equation? When these feral teens are finally identified and arrested, does the court involve the parents in the judgement/sentencing/resolution of the crime? Seriously asking……

I think that your use of the plural is overly optimistic. Hoodrats don’t have parents, they have a parent. The sperm donor is no longer in the picture, either through disinterest or incarceration. Mom has been on the government tit her whole life and is only interested in parenting in so far as it involves getting free stuff and pawning responsibility for raising their spawn off on others.

One thing that has stuck with me from my time in the ‘hood is the manner in which the savages destroyed their children from infancy. It was not uncommon to see mothers cursing, smacking and yelling at their progeny. I would watch the kids trooping out of the corner store in the morning with their breakfast of chicken wings, flaming hot cheetos and grape soda. In watching the mothers interact with their spawn, you knew those kids were doomed. They should have just dropped the stroller off at the state prison and skipped the middle steps.

The addition of color to a universal picture of “oppression” by da man. Great post!

Am I reading this right: the two miscreant thugs-in-training from the Coolidge St. crash are the same two miscreant thugs-in-training from the Dunns Creek Terrace crash?

Time for a change; perhaps more public funding to even out inequities in the Hip Hop scene…?
