Did that Annapolis newspaper forget
to post its ‘No Firearms’ signs?

It’s as predictable as the clenched fist on the pages of The Nation magazine. A conservative comes to town and the social justice crazies shut down rush-hour traffic.

Thursday it was Voces de la Frontera protesting President Trump’s visit by blocking the freeway exit into downtown Milwaukee. Always a sure crowd pleaser for folks who, you know, have real work to get to, doctor’s appointments, lunch plans.

Question to all the Annoying Bobs holding a sit-in in front of the Manor: Who does this persuade? Brandi Grayson and the local BLM affiliate shut down John Nolen Drive awhile back. Remember that groundswell of support that engendered? Me neither. 

Imagine the independent voter, wavering between going all Freedom Caucus with Jim Jordan or throwing in with the Venezuelan socialism of ¡Alexandri Ocasio-Cortez! Which way does s/he go? Oh, look, I can’t get off the Interstate! I’m going to miss my appointment! That does it, I’m signing up with the social justice warriors.

Never mind, no Trump connection after all

It is becoming apparent that the bastard who killed five at that Annapolis, Maryland, newspaper had a particular beef with that publication, having once sued for defamation and lost. Before the bleeding had been stanched, liberals in the news media were jonesing to connect Donald Trump.

As news of a fatal mass shooting at a community newspaper in Annapolis, Maryland surfaced, “online conversation quickly turned to President Trump’s reputation for inciting violence against the press. Top of mind for many was Trump’s tendency to villainize reporters,” says one Left of Mind source. 

So much so that Mayor DiBlasio rushed his abused blue line to the defense of the New York Times Trump bashers. Could be another nationwide 9/11, he must have reasoned, this one triggered by some right-wing dog whistle. Here’s guessing the Capital Gazette forgot to post a “No Firearms On These Premises” signs.

At least Voces de la Frontera protested separating kids from their parents, lawbreakers though those parents be.

They just will not STFU!

How do you protest creating 10,000 jobs? When you are desperate for an issue against Scott Walker, is how how. Two hundred social justice warriors assembled from throughout the state and beyond in Racine County demanding a $15 minimum wage, even though FoxConn pays better. 

Other signs bleated: “Our Water, Our Jobs,” “Clean Energy” and “Impeach Hate,” to name a few. Oh, and “We Will Not Be Silent.” But will they make any sense?

Did we say “usual suspects”? Our Wisconsin Revolution was on hand. The Raging Grannies from Madison led the crowd in song. Democrat(ic) candidate for governor and former party boss Matt Flynn was working the crazies shaking hands, promising to sue FoxConn if elected. Got to rank with Walter Mondale promising to raise taxes. Vote for Flynn and I’ll sue job creators!

Meanwhile, FoxConn announces it will hire 200 workers in Green Bay for an innovation center. That “Poof”-ing sound you just heard is the Democrat’s big issue going up in environmentally friendly smoke in the vote-rich Fox Valley, just as it has in normally Democrat(ic) Racine-Kenosha. (Peter Barca had to quit leading Assembly Democrats when he came out for more jobs over partisan enmity.)
